I was hoping this morning to open up steam, and play some Destiny 2, but, when I tried to run it, it had an 'update'. This update finished, but it popped up with an error message saying that some files were corrupted, so, I uninstall Destiny 2, and try to reinstall it. The process goes fine, until it finishes, where it has another error message, saying the content file is locked. So I perform the correct command in my Windows + R pop up, and restart. I come back to find the very same message! I need some help here! (For those wondering, yes, I have checked the files beforehand, and yes I have tried to clean them up via the verification of the files. This was before I uninstalled and reinstalled, where now, it won't finish the download because of that error)

i got something similar. in my case it kept "validating" the files which would take around half an hour, then it would keep repeating this process and get absolutely nowhere with the update
