I played Destiny 2, for 2 days, and absolutely hated it, it was enjoyable at the start, because I could actually upgrade my items fairly evenly with how I was leveling up, but then when I ran out of those stupid "Upgrade Module's" which wasn't too long lol, you barely get any upgrade modules, I hated the system because then I wasn't able to upgrade my weapons so I kept dying, and then finally I just put the controller down and uninstalled the game, It is by far the most trash game out here! yes I like to grind, but to a certain extent, I already have to grind my ass off for weapons, armor, ghost shells, ships and a whole bunch of other crap, I don't want to have to also grind just to get some "upgrade modules" as well, its a garbage system and it made me so frustrated with the game because it directly effected my weapon damage, my armor, and it just made the whole experience so much worse, I felt like I was making some progress within the game, but with all these rubbish systems bungie has added, has just made the game a whole lot worse.I felt like I was back tracking at some point because I couldn't upgrade my weapons! It's easy for alot of people to say "just grind & stop complaining" but I am a new player returning from quitting ages ago, and I can tell you from my experience returning to this game, is the developers have made the game worse like its almost their intention to make the game more difficult and annoying for the players! Especially new/returning players. Why can't they just keep the goddamn game and it's systems simple? I don't think that anyone in the fan base were complaining about the infusion methods before, so I have no Idea why the developers, would add in this system when no one complained about it in the first place? This garbage "upgrade modules" system is the reason why I quit the game. It made the experience crushing, excrutiotiating and demorilising to the new players/returning players.

I have 25 upgrade modules in my inventory. I have used about 6 so far. I have 600 enhancement cores. I have more then 500 of each planetary materials. I have more then 4000 weapon parts. It's all about me. The whole universe revolves around me.. so as long as I am happy, it's all good 🌚

honestly, i agree with you. I'm really tired of them locking basic things like this behind stupid grind walls. Why do i need to grind out Microphasic Dalattice or Etheric Spirals for upgrade cores? What do i need to grind out Helium Filaments to obtain a single Enchantment Prism? Why do I need Enchantment Cores for both Enchantment Prisms and Upgrade Modules? The grind is getting ridiculous here, it's like these Developers don't understand the difference between a enjoyable task to a chore. If the developers need help understand how to improve the game then i'll spell it out for everyone. If most of my time is spent searching for materials rather then doing Strikes, Nightfalls, Raids, Campaigns, or whatnot. Then your game design choice is badly designed. This is a Video Game, not a job. The player is suppose to be enjoying themselves, not having to spend HOURS searching around maps for materials when they can be doing things that are enjoyable. It also doesn't help that the game isn't designed to be a crafting/ scavenger hunt game as the things that make that stuff ENJOYABLE isn't there in this game. Bungie, you either need to fire whoever is making these calls or you need to have a serious internal discussion on what is enjoyable and what's just straight up badly designed and the requirements for "Upgrade Materials" is one of them. You want me to keep my gun and upgrade it? Fine, i'll love to do that. But the requirements for the materials necessary for doing such a thing makes such a task the most tediously and unnessarily grindy and just straight up poorly designed and gives the players more frustration than satisfaction as i know this is prob why you made it so difficult. well back to just trashing everything i get and never EVER bothering to upgrade them. Cause why bother.

It changes nothing except it’s a slight hassle to go back to the tower to buy more IF you run out. I feel it’s better as you can now get free infusions as rewards

You can buy them or earn them easily. They are cheap to buy.

I can't believe after a whole year of enhancement cores people still don't know how to infuse smartly. The modules are so much cheaper than previous infusion costs.

Lesson here is to stop complaining and just play the game.

We asked for enhancement cores to be removed, Bingo! they removed them BUT replaced them with something more annoying, grinding and more restrictive/limiting. Back to start, now we have to go through another year to get upgrade modules removed

No one is surprised that there is a new limiting material for infustion. NO ONE.

You always have to use trash well leveling. If your noy doing that, your wasting your time.

I don’t understand the complaints around infusion. I’ve only infused one item (Ace) and the only reason for that was because I got the catalyst to drop and wanted to try it out at higher power. Brought it up to 902 straight from 750 with only one upgrade mod and didn’t have to give up any other materials or even glimmer. Just one upgrade mod. You get so many upgrade mods from the season pass alone and then you get more from completing certain quests and then you buy them from the gunsmith. If people have run out already then that seems like poor use of the upgrade mods when you know your power is going to continually increase over time. I’ve been saving all my enhancement cores for when I get to 960+, as I don’t see the point in infusing items early when you know you’re going to keep getting higher level gear to drop until you reach the hard cap. For armor, I also want to make sure I’m building sets correctly in the way that suits my playstyle, so it may not be prudent to infuse my favorite armor and/or masterwork them too early. I just see it as a waste of resources until you actually [i]need[/i] to infuse an item.

Buying Upgrade Modules from Banshee costs literally the exact same amount as infusing Legendaries with Legendaries did previously. You aren't being charged more. It isn't being made more difficult.
