Title. I bough Shadowkeep Deluxe Edition, and now my gf is complaining that the season pass isn't working with her account. Bungie, wtf?
We tried restoring licenses, we tried deactivating and activating again my account as primary, and it doesn't work. It is really weird because the Y2 season pass is still working, so i'm assuming the the main problem is with shadowkeep's season pass.
Can someone shed a light here?
I'm on PS4.

This just happened to me with Final shape and Echoes on my alt PSN account. Complete BS. If other content can work with gameshare so should Seasonal content. Destiny has become a micro transnational hell which causes these issues. Now I need to buy 1500 silver and purchase Echoes separately on alt account or I just delete the game.

2 RepliesJesus christ you guys are idiots. Its technically a dlc, its gonna work like a dlc
-
She has access to the annual pass but none of the content is actually released yet. The battle pass is not included and requires an additional $10 per season for secondary accounts.
-
If you game share, the seasonal pass will only be free on the account that purchased the dlc. The seasonal battle pass is not considered dlc. Don't confuse it with the annual pass, which is a bundle price for future dlc (and is shareable).

1 ReplyIt’s how season passes work. Yeah Bungie should’ve been a bit more clearer, but don’t expect anything if you don’t research yourself. These -blam!-ing idiots nowadays man, ffs.
-
Works as designed
-
3 RepliesWait , so you expect the game to work for unlimited amount of people because you bought it once? Are you -blam!-?

Yep, not happy . go to Microsoft store and pull up the game. As you scroll down there is a box [see more] it is hidden . it's called fine print. My wife and I are fed up with the tactics. We are spending the time we paid for the game searching for other games and not give bung any more money. Its deception/ I have a thread I'll put a link on your comment, read it

16 RepliesSeason passes are tied to accounts now, not console .Each account on the console will have to buy a season pass, according to what was on reddit
-
yeahh only the shadowkeep DLC game shares, the actual season pass is an eververse purchase, 1000 silver ($13 here in Canada) which means its linked to the purchasing account, your GF will have to purchase the "season of undying" pass on her account for whatever price it is in your area.

3 RepliesIt’s a scam, they changed the meaning of season pass. No longer does it mean you get a certain amount of dlc’s at a fair price. Now they’ve gone down the fortnite model. Every account needs a season pass. I bought the deluxe version I. Good faith and now I understand I need to pay up to £30 extra every few months so my kids can play. F’in disgusting.

Just another disappointment from Disappointment 2. Bungie likes to get the maximum out of your wallet bro

Edited by dezzyanthony: 10/3/2019 12:56:57 AMGo to Settings in your gf’s PS4 and activate it as the main console, this should work :) Edit: Sry didn’t read the activation part xD
-
Edited by Fate: 10/2/2019 11:44:31 PMOnly works with whatever account bought it It’s a one per account type of thing so you would have to buy it again on her account
-
2 RepliesYup, same here...Thanks BUNGiE, the wife now wants a divorce knowing her season pass is NOT active.
-
4 RepliesConsole game sharing works on DLC license entitlements. These would be licenses held by your platform store. The season passes are Eververse content unlocks which mean they exist only in game and thus the platform has no knowledge of them which means they cannot be shared using game sharing on Xbox or PlayStation. --- Season was unlocked on the account you purchased Shadowkeep on. As for secondary accounts, you need to unlock them seperately as usual with Eververse purchases.
-
The pass is locked to your account not your console. If your girlfriend has a different account she doesn't automatically get your pass.

2 Replies... It's not supposed to, the DLC shares but not the pass...
not included in the DLC
3 RepliesEdited by Chibi_Sushi: 10/2/2019 4:33:51 PMi think Expansion pass, Seasonal pass, should of been more clarified. I blame the last Expansion Forsaken think about it, when you buy Forsaken Expansion it offered Premium pass, Mix of seasonal (joker, opulence & forge) Thus many game sharers were playing Seamlessly. NOW they SEPARATED the two, psn (Network) & Eververse (account specific) So in line with the trend and perhaps cross play introduced locked content (possibly from hackers?) :( I have given up and bought £8.50 (1000 Silver) for first time ever :(. To buy the additional side content, because I cannot let my Titan partner have all the fun.... Even though its a pass of 1 of 4, 3 more buy its very expensive long run for more activities For not having Deluxe, it offers NO PREMIUM pass either. This is possibly the only & last one i'll purchase. And stick with free events.

1 Replyhello .. i'm also disappointed that Bungie adopted this model of Season Pass ... at home we are three and we play on the same PS4 .... we play since 2014 and we consider ourselves founders ... until Season 7 was running everything ok but now only one account will be able to enjoy the Season Pass and the others just the campaign ... I believe my story with the game is coming to an end ... you know, I was happy to hear that Bungie left Acitivision .. But on the other hand I was sad to see that Activision is still in Bungie's soul. Sorry for the outburst! and good journey to all and be at peace with your light.

6 RepliesIt’s intentional, happened to me as well.

Found this on another post. Ridiculous this wasn't made clear pre-launch: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/253727472/0/0/1

Spend another $10 per season for the battle pass. Shadowkeep AND the playable content from annual pass 2.0 can be gameshared, just not the battle pass.
-
1 ReplyYet another way for them to get more money. Glad I’m not supporting Shadowkeep.
