Weasel error
Logged in two times and two times got weasel error the next second.
Could it be an issue on my end?

I'm having the same issue, started a topic on this forum and got zero responses. Bungie really needs a dedicated support team. It's getting ridiculous.

Weasel here aswell, i manage to login start play and then i see "Connecting to destiny2 servers" flashing while i still play with a friend and he still sees me. Weird..very weird.

Other than that, I can play the game . I removed myself from my clan, switched from Wi-Fi to hardwired ethernet connection, turned of firewalls. I sill can't get to inventory or interact with any vendors, my vault, postmaster, nor Eris et. al. I cross saved from PS4 to Steam. I can see my characters and everything appears to have worked in the cross save.

OMG, I was able to fix the problem by removing the german umlaut characters from my clan description. Hope this helps somebody.

2 RepliesI'm still getting the Weasel error code. After I select my character and just before the orbiting screen appears, the error code pops up. I tried it with cross save on and off...both the same. Even tried changing the clan name and tag (removed the number from it, no other unique characters otherwise). Still nothing. Quite the bummer :-(

Was getting weasel most of the day.. now it’s nothing but baboon.. I’ve reset my internet 3 times since yesterday and no fix.. I can log In and be in orbit and look at my inventory and whatever else. But as soon as I try to launch anything like go to the tower, moon or any other place I get kicked back to orbit

To solve the problem weasel: 1. Login Bungie Account 2. Leave the clan 3. Problem solved I had the same problem and after i leave the clan there is no more problem

I haven't been able to choose a character to start the game at all, I've had weasel for the past 23 hours, I don't have an ethernet cable, I'm starting destiny 2 from scratch, so can someone help me pls thx

My clan changed the clan tag from all stars to a normal word and it fixed the weseal error code. Haven't had a single issue since.

3 RepliesI am glad that everybody had the same issue and not that certain players or countries could still play on. I am a software tester and I know that something can work perfectly at the office but at the moment like a thousands and thousands of players start playing a lot of other things can go wrong like server issues. You have software to do stress tests but still it is different then the real thing. Hopefully it is stable tonight when I go back playing again cause I really enjoyed the little bit that I could play.

4 RepliesWas able to get in and into my inventory or talking to people but kept getting kicked to orbit with guitar code. Fixed that by clearing my download cache but now every single time I talk to someone, open my settings or open my inventory I get kicked to title with weasel code. Haven't noticed anyone else complaining about inventory like that.

3 RepliesIf your clan has special character, you need to change the lettering of your clan. Once you change it to normal lettering, the weasel is gone! Make sure you inform your admin to change the lettering of your clan name to normal lettering. My clan just changed the lettering and now I am no longer getting weasel error! TRY IT and see if that work.
