I'm referring too power lvl progression past the hard cap of 960 u get just from playing...not the rewards system btw***
Games that have an unlimited power cap is always a horrible idea. People with jobs, things to do, or even just want sleep will always lag behind the people that are able to no life it. Essentially being penalized for not playing. I know having a 2k + power lvl won't be mandatory for content, but a huge power level will be prioritized for pugs or other group forming despite experience or skill. This unlimited power artifact seems like it will just be rewarding play time over skill, getting more powerful based on the time you can dedicate to playing over the challenges in destiny you can complete. Thats why its a problem....someone who beats raids & all destinys hardest content will still be lower than someone that can grind easy content 12hrs a day. Playtime should nvr be more rewarding than skill. i just hope it doesn't affect iron banner. imagine if it was like that in overwatch. all those platinum portrait silver & gold players getting rewarded dmg & defense buffs as the silver portrait masters and gms get nothing lol.

It resets at the end of the season and you can only be like 40 power over something before it doesnt matter anymore, you'll be ok dont worry
