Cant believe how many people crutch on those few perks. Personally I weapon stat boosting perks like range finder, zen moment, and drop mag.

I swear I can hear IQs dropping around here recently. I could try to explain what they are doing, but inevitably I would get some likes from the people who already knew the info, and get stupid harrassment posts from those that didnt. Just play the shit, or dont.

Or. We go back to a period where gunskill and technique actually mattered. Year 3 will not be like year 1. It's shaping up to be like a mix of both, which is what we need. I cant be the only one who thinks most Pve activities have gotten crazy easy. The only things that can be hard now are the dungeons, or when our light is low.

You should break down the numbers first. Like seriously, I know you you won't, but you should. Letting your feelings control everything isn't a smart way to go about things

About the damage perk nerf. It isnt really a nerf. If the theory that the numbers will be reduced to what they are in crucible is right, then most guns will do the same damage with the perk active because of the across the board damage buff.

Remember how they nerfed a bunch of weapon archtypes but then increase the power of the perks? Its kind of like the opposite of what they did that time, truth is if you look at the math you are still getting a 3% damage boost overall. They may have brought the perks down but they buffed weapons to compensate. They fixed the hand cannon animation, but they also had to make it so that 150/140's hand cannon archtypes didnt become handheld sniper rifles, They still may be a threat but you may really have to invest in the range to get those results. My only gripe as of right now is that they NEED to make the Material economy WAY more fair, because if it was people would not be having to go over and bust a shardy nut at spider for mats that they might not even use, Im not even talking about Cores im talking about Glimmer and shards and weapon parts XD. The Expansion has not even dropped yet and people act like bungie has "Screwed up again". For all we know this expansion may beat out The taken king, and its because bungie is establishing an actual narrative for once, This ENTIRE year is going to be one big ass chapter in the destiny universe. So for all we know they might exceed expectations, some people are saying that the bar is so "low". But look at season of opulence and how GREAT this last season was. The menagerie was great, the raid was great. The only problems this season actually had stemmed from people being overpowered thus resulting in them having LESS FUN. So all they really need to do now is bring back the D1 vendor and strike system theat we had at the d1. Bungie has to knock it out of the park here and if a few nerfs and a few system changes we might be on the wa to being back to a golden standard. Now if only they could tone down on the eververse prices (lets be honest the only problem with eververse is the prices)

When a game is flooded with Pinnacle weapons, all other normal weapons become irrelevant. Then you'll complain about trash perks and no new good guns when all you'll use is Mountaintop & Recluse.

Armor 2.0 is what I don’t like. Everything else is fine imo. I do see why people are offended by all these nerfs. They feel that bungie has betrayed their time investment. Just remember one thing: they’ve done it before. You can’t be surprised.

In our current state, I think we actually might be stronger than D1 year 1. At least for PvE.

Remember the sound of the mighty Vex Mythoclast in the crucible. It struck FEAR in you when you heard it. Folks around hear would cry like babies if an OP weapon like that was to rise from the ashes. The forums would burn. But, but... balance. 😭

I find it hilarious how they edit weapon perks but don’t address the eye mask and the under used exotics for all classes.
