What is your favorite year 1 weapon you would like to see with random rolls (with some feedback regarding vendors, iron banner and menagerie)?
Mine would be the scathelocke.
I like how it sounds, how it looks and how it performs with its current roll.
Although I still like the current one, I grow bored of the same perks it has.
I'm not quite sure why the planetary vendors didn't get some year 2 variants and I haven't been too upset about it, I just grow bored of the autos in the game currently because they are either too hard to farm for good rolls or just complete garbage so I think reintroducing these weapons would be a good medium (or I guess it would have been, but new stuff is coming out with shadow keep) when content for weapons and stuff was running a bit thin.
That's one of the things I feel menagerie missed the mark on.
What better way to introduce a way to farm for specific weapons and rolls than with weapons that do not have that option currently, especially since a lot of the weapons in that pool were kind of just filler garbage from the vanguard and crucible.
I feel this way with the remaining iron banner weapons too.
These past what...3-4 iron banners haven't even given us year 2 versions of year 1 gear let alone give us a complete set of the forsaken iron banner weapons, with like the red barb design.
Please consider doing so bungie.
A lot of year 1 weapons I wish I could use in a random rolled state and I hope you guys do better with iron banner come shadow keep.

1 ReplyGuiding Star, the Dead Orbit auto rifle. I had a really good experience with it during Year 1. Then weapon tuning happened and the gun felt inaccurate for some reason. Still though, it's a 720 RPM kinetic auto rifle with good sights. I feel like it has a lot of potential. Might even be pretty nasty if it got random rolls.

1 ReplyLoved scathlocke in year 1, but after getting gnawing hunger its been replaced for me. Autos just need a buff in general. Midnight coup for me. There is literally no handcannon like it. Spare Rations is the same archetype, but is nowhere near as good looking or sounds the same.

5 RepliesI still have my 'Locke on my Hunter. Still fun to use. I would love to have random rolls for Martyr's Make. During vanilla D2 this thing was my go-to for PvP. That and it looked fantastic with many different shaders!
