Error CE-38604-1 when downloading Shadowkeep?

"A disc version of the same application has been used in this PS4. To add the content to [downloads] you must delete the disc version of the content. (CE-38604-1)”
Have FORSAKEN LEGENDARY PHYSICAL DISC......if i delete the disc version, am i losing all my shit?

Sooo...moving forward Delete on launch, download Shadowkeep I will have all my gear, triumphs, and progress intact. No more physical disc needed?

I would think if you get the same error code yes. But I feel like a guy standing next to you on a high cliff and you are asking “ya think I’ll be ok if I jump?” And I’m like peering over the edge and saying “yeah I think you’ll be ok”. Then immediately I feel like Im totally not qualified to be giving that answer
