The crucible is making me become toxic.
I’m tired of the same crap, different day. Every titan always has to use a OEM, with whatever crutch weapon they want to use. Every hunter has to have stompees, with DRB and Luna’s howl. There’s always that one guy that wants to pad his stats by camping heavy with a wardcliff, or truth. Then we have 4-6 stacks that go into QP to wreck solo players and the solo players eventually start leaving the match. Hopefully things change during shadowkeep, but I highly doubt it.

I'm tired of running away and hearing a Hunter swing their blades non-stop or a Titan spamming melee to close distances and neither being punished for it. A Hunter and Titan spamming melee without kills should drain the hell out of the super. I want a super free playlist so bad

My biggest problem with Destiny 2 crucible personally is all of the one shot kill stuff. Like literally, crucible feels like Mayhem mode with no real gun play. Endless supers, getting Erentil'd from ridiculous range with one shot body kills, endless grenade launchers, crazy fast heavy spawn. I'd honestly just prefer more gunplay. All of that stuff isn't fun to me. I get some people enjoy it, but this is typically why I steer clear of modes like Mayhem. And now I can't even do that because it's in normal game mode. Just my 2 cents.

this is why taken king april update was so good, the crucible was very balanced with enough good exotics across all classes to remove the existence of a meta dont believe me? boot up your old xbox 360 or ps3 (as thats the last update they got) and youll see how balanced it is

People who arnt good, coming out with alot of kills, due to overpowered weapons, and ever lasting supers. It's -blam!-ing time Bungie removed the stabilizers from them.

20 RepliesD2 yr 1 was actually balanced and took skill to do well, but this community whined so much and now we are stuck with this shit. Super spam, heavy/special spam, meta spam, 4-6 stack spam, shit maps, shit game modes, shit lobby balancing.

And this is one of the main reasons I don’t do PvP... it’s not fun as a casual to get shit on. Or to go against full teams Or to deal with unbalanced weapon/armor Or to deal with lag Or to deal with campers, not just a Destiny thing PvP in general in Destiny feels like a job, I already have 2, I don’t need a third one.

I did have some fun in IB until get stomped repeatly by 6 mountain tops and 6 recluses. Bungee really know how to kill fun in Crucible.

I guess everyone has an opinion regarding the state of crucible. Of all the things i hate, snipers are the worst. One shot kills, not even on the radar to me is bullshit. Combined with aim assist and whatever cheating crap, it's ruined the game.

10 RepliesCrucible has the potential to be great and it is frustrating for a number of reasons: 1. Inconsistent connections - hate hate hate that some games I can be mapping people as they turn corners while others I can't hit people in the open running at me. I'd take a reasonable average from dedicated servers versus the wild swings that happen game to game. I don't want to say there's manipulation at play, but it does seem a bit shady that most of the very high elo players I run into seem to consistently be host. 2. Supers are too tanky - I agree with Bungie that they should be high risk, high reward. You should never be able to run straight at a couple players, tank all their shots, and kill them. I'd be up for minimal additional armor on roaming supers and 0 or even negative armor on ranged supers. If I jump into the air at 2-3 players and try to blade barrage them in the open, I deserve to die. 3. Heavy economy is a bit much but that's already being tweaked with Shadowkeep. Otherwise I'm fine with meta weapons, OEM, Stompees, god rolls, etc as they make Destiny different than other FPS, even though I would love a 'hardcore' playlist. I see plenty of weapon diversity - HC, pulses, fusions, snipers, shotguns. Would be nice if sidearms, autos, and scouts were stronger but not everything has to be equal.

After playing more comp than I've ever wanted to in my life, I have to say it's your own personal attitude towards the game that makes it toxic. I lost hundreds of games to make it to fabled. Played matches 1v4. And won. And I've played matches where we lost and I got ZERO kills. Everyone plays to what they feel is going to annihilate the competition. If you're losing or salty about your game, change your tactics.

These forums and this community completely ruined it by GOING CRAZY to get it into the state you have it now. "We want D1 sh1t$how PvP we all complained about from 2014-2016, this balance thing isn't fun." If D2 vanilla PVP was basically allowed to stay by the community, with the current weapon system we have now this PVP would be amazing. Y'all made your bed... now how fun sleeping in it. Bungie gave you balance PVP about two years ago and you all f****** went crazy Don't blame Bungie blame yourself; they've only been trying to appease you guys. 4 RepliesI feel like you say things because it is just what other people saying. Like give specific reasons why you think OEM is op, instead of broadly saying every titan uses OEM. Like, just give up trying to blame individual armor pieces and/or weapons on what is most likely your bad game and/or gun skill. You didn’t die just because the titan was wearing OEM, you died because you peeked the corner a second time, and by your own admission, you already knew they had on OEM. You probably know you shouldn’t peek the corner again, but you do it anyways because if you lose you can just say “of coarse he is using OEM”. I do agree with you about matchmaking though, it is crap. It’s like they rank a lobby 1-12 and 1-6 are team A and 7-12 are team B. It confuses me how so many matches can me as lop sided as they are. Or how I can go .87 with 9 kills one match, then go 3.67 with 24 kills the next match... then after I have one decent match I know the next couple will be crap.
