Glory Rank needs tweaked
I know I'm going to catch flak for this, but something needs doe about the current glory ranking system. How is it fair that I get set back almost an entire rank when teammates leave the game causing my team to lose?
I'm a pretty low glory rank as I don't play much crucible but I want recluse so I decided to give it a shot, only to get put against a fire stack of fabled rank. Something needs fixed.

9 RepliesEdited by Ben_Is_Orion: 9/23/2019 10:33:12 PMPlay Sunday mornings if you can. In my experience as a terrible to not great comp player, Sunday mornings are the golden hours for progress. Got Recluse, Mountaintop, and Luna's Howl by doing this. I only lost progress playing any other time or day. Saturday's are OK sometimes, but definitely not at night. Try it out. Edit: Eastern Standard Time in case someone was wondering.

I know they already have information out on the glory changes. But to be honest, I don’t think the “glory ladder,” will change. Players who can’t hit fabled now will STILL not be able to. Mida catalyst will still be incredibly rare for anyone to actually earn legit, also including not forgotten as well, despite them saying the glory changes should make that catalyst more available. Ddosing will more then likely take the place of recovery accounts in order to prevent their business from tanking in destiny 2. That, or using the glory cheese in the non solo competitive playlist. And they will still absolutely spam the fireteam finder on this website with virtually no consequence, as they are just using “dummy,” accounts that can easily be remade with no trouble, while also leaving the main account or console unharmed. I have heard no changes to that or punishments been sent out against players who cheesed it so, yea. Don’t expect the glory changes to help you get the weapon or stop rampant cheating. In fact, I expect it to get MUCH WORSE.

1 ReplyAlso how it is fair to lose a 20+ win streak from someone on the other team lagging to oblivion? It was so bad that one of them disconnected, making it 4v3 (my team’s favor), and STILL lost due to this guy’s instant fusion charging. Please bungo.

Well you cant do a lot if your mates are leaving...glory rank have nothing to do with dumb dumbs players like those leavers. Its already prettt quick to reach fabled, and will be even more easier soon. (Actually takes 16wins in a row)

3 RepliesIt’ll be changed when shadowkeep comes out on October 1st. Should be much easier to achieve glory by then. My suggestion is to take a break from comp until then maybe. Good luck ;) ❤️

3 RepliesPersonally I watch the numbers. If it slowly goes to 8 then no teams of 3 or 4 are in and people are less likely to leave. If it jumps from 2 to 5 or 4 or 8, etc. then I will back out of the queue and wait for another one. A long process I know but it seems to help solo players out? Personally I wish they would make it so a win counts as progress and a loss stalls you instead of taking you back like the current system. Especially when you lose a teammate. I know this is comp but it sucks to lose because you lost a guy mid match or whenever and then you lose points because of it...

They are creating floors at the actual glory ranks so you can’t fall below them up to 2100 this fall
