Riven is extremely close to the top, but for me at least Kings Fall is one of the best. VoG was good when it was only that and Crotas End out, but now I feel as if people say its the best because of the feels they get.

WOTM was the perfect mix of VOG and kings fall for me.
-
For me it feels like wrath was the best. But I never did kings fall or VoG. So I can only say wrath or Crota. But as for my favorite D2 raid, it’s scourge hands down.
-
It was a slog. I've never been fond of endgame content that was just pointless boss fight after pointless boss fight. It's just a pain to get through. VoG, as many issues as I had with it, was paced very well.
-
I liked WOTM more but King's Fall was definitely second.
-
King’s Fall was pretty awesome, but I’m quite partial to Wrath myself. Loved that raid.
-
Let’s just put it this way Destiny 1 raids >x100 Destiny 2 Raids Destiny 1 Raids are all pretty much classics

Edited by Ubisuccle: 9/25/2019 1:43:07 PMAside from the shit ass hive.... golgoroth one tapping everyone, the shitty jumping puzzles, and just about everything else in that raid... yea you might have a point

2 RepliesEdited by A KOOL POP TART: 9/24/2019 1:42:58 PMKings fall sucked.....VOG was peak raid energy

Wrath of the mechanics > Everything. VoG I have nostalgia for too, in a Halo 2 Multiplayer - I was there - kinda way! People that weren't, will never understand our love for it even if it wasn't that great.

WoTm. Why ? It was Epic ( lot of good music) , the fallen doesn't let you breath. You always fight ! It was so damn good. The exotic quest hidden in the raid was the best exotic quest they've done. It also has good visual and mechanics. I miss SIVA Fallen... :/ Vault Of Glass is also one of my favorite. ( and yes... That includes lots of nostalgia haha) Crota's was... So buggy. But it was so fun ! Good memories. ( and the boss can move !) King Fall... Nah i hate that. I really hate that Raid and i don't like Riven too. Why ? It's just killing bosses and nothing else. Yes, they have some good mechanics but it's just killing bosses, it feels lazy. WoTm and VoG has some hidden path and damn, that was so cool. I love the exploring in a Raid. ( with hidden chest !) Sorry for my bad english, i'm french.

That’s easy, WoTm. Done.

1 ReplyVault of glass 😁

First time Vog, forever 29 time... Laughed alot with clan back then. Other raid still fun but more serious, and not forgetting the demands on lfg... And need to admit, fireteam going blind into Crota raid at lamps was too funny.

Why do I need to change your mind? Think for yourself.
-
kf is my fav as well
-
Leviathan is the worst. Wack a mole race course more akin to Sonic the Hedgehog than a first person shooter. I'm all for game mechanics but running in circles, jumping obstacles and falling platforms. All whilst your team are on a shakey platform shooting buttons. That section of the raid is ridiculous. Change my mind

WOTM was the best one IMO. But King's Fall is definitely up there.

2 RepliesI feel like the raids in D1 had a better balance between ads and mechanics in general. The first encounter of Last Wish, you shoot, like, 4 thrall and a knight and burn the boss. The last encounter in CoS, if the Deception spawns on my side first, I get to kill three whole knights and a couple of exploding thrall and it’s over. The mechanics in D1 were more satisfying because they let you shoot at stuff. Shooting at stuff is way more fun than standing on plates.

4 RepliesVoG weapons + WotM mechanics + KF visuals/lore/narrative would equal best raid ever. However, I enjoyed KF the most because it was the raid I spent the most time in. I loved the hidden chests, the platforming, the goofiness when someone got lost in the maze or launched across the map when “pistoned”, the teamwork required yet the ability to keep going if there was a guardian down, the everyone hold your breath moment if Oryx was going to clap or not, and more. Sooo many happy memories ☺️

-
Some people get carried away by the nostalgia and get fixated on VoG. The one I enjoyed the most for the mechanics and boss battles was WotM, the moments where everything goes bad and still you save the encounter are my favorite and that raid had a lot of these moments, especially the first month after release. Also the gun quest was cool.
-
But I'm tiredddd. Tell you what. Let's pretend I tried to change your mind, and failed. Win win!

VoG was my favorite by far because in the beginning of this games life no one knew what it was going to grow into. VoG felt like a trip into what could be and it felt magical diving into this massive underground raid into the core of Venus barely being high enough light for the encounters yet looking forward to what was next. Also, being able to (at the time) control the mechanics of not just the relics but you also used to be able to control who Atheon sent back in time. It was just an amazing fight for those who did it when it was brand new.

My top raid is Wrath, then KF, then Crota

One of my favorite raids was actually Spire. I imagine like, 3 other people might have the same opinion. Besides that Wrath is real high up there too. I actually adored Wrath.
