What does Awoken blood look like or do they bleed at all?
The awoken have to be one of the most interesting parts of Destiny lore for me (of course, that's probably just me being bias since my guardian's awoken). But since this game's rated T for Teen, we can't really see any blood spill aside from the "strawberry jam" smearing our vision when we almost die so I just gotta ask: what does awoken blood look like? Does it glow like their eyes? Is it some weird florescent blue color like Grunt blood? Do they just bleed normal red blood? Or do they bleed all?

Since I couldn't find anything, I remembered that there was a trailer Bungie released where Zavala got cut during the timestamp of around 0:23. Anyways, I don't know if this is just because Bungie wanted to prevent the trailer from looking Bloody, but when Zavala got cut, white glowing dust splattered out. This could be his blood. Then there's my theory that goes along with this. When Mara Sov was dying in the vaccum of space (before she became awoken), her skin became bluish-purple. Kinda like when your body lacks oxygen. Since everyone on her ship died, I'm guessing for the most part they suffered the same fate and turned that colour. That's their skin though. What I think is that the light replenished their blood with something else to save them. So maybe their blood is really light. Sort of. This probably also helped shield them from the darkness when they were being consumed. And since blood affects how your skin looks, I think it explains why their skin has a white glow to it. TLDR; I think it's a White Glow I hope what I wrote down makes sense. I also hope that any part of the lore that I mentioned (Mara Sov's part in particular) wasn't misinformation. I got the info from one of Myelin Games's videos, but I might've remembered certain things incorrectly, so feel free to correct me if so. Anyways, that's all. Hope this helped. 1 ReplyIt depends on the color of our eyes. As an Awoken warlock main with blue eyes, I bleed blue blood. However, when I play my Awoken hunter, I bleed green blood as my eyes become green. Get it?
