you could always unlink your profile and start over in shadowkeep... just a thought

That’s.... not how it works. The ban doesn’t come from Bungie.net, it bans the account that is being played on. For example, if you were playing on your battle.net account, your battle.net account is banned from the game.

Right .. but if he unlinks it.. and links his stream to a new account he abandons his banned account

And has to start again, from scratch. Banned accounts are carrying their bans over to steam.
