YOU STILL LOSE ELO. You still take the loss, you still lose the win streak. So before you think your small little mind is outsmarting the system, think again.
Oh right and you also lose your chances to get any loot drops and Iron Banner tokens.
If you are not doing something this stupid, this does not apply to you at all and I thank you for not falling into this category of players.

Just commenting, But I've left matches before and I haven't gotten any 'loss' penalty, no loss of streak, nothing. There's nothing holding me back from leaving a match early.

We made a comeback today from a 2v6, 13-47 game. We won by 20 points and had the best comeback ever. And it was a six stack on the other team 🤣 Don’t leave a match. You can always win
-
All it takes is getting advantage and a some stops for a few phases next thing you know your teams on a roll. It’s impossible when your team mates are playing like it’s Rumble and negating the importance of flag control. The bounties make it even less of an incentive so i can understand why some players are going out of their way to complete those gun bounties instead of winning the game.

3 RepliesDo you think i give a damn about imaginary numbers in a game. If my teams trash or the enemy doesn't know what a 1v1 is im gonna leave i don't care i need wins not losses for this stupid quest.

2 RepliesWho gave F about ELO?
-
8 RepliesIf I try to play, this happens (true story on Tuesday) Game 1 Vs a 6 stack of not forgotten from Russia so I left Game 2 Vs a 6 stack from Poland so I left Game 3 joined losing 8-78 so I left Game 4 joined losing 6-76 so I left Turned off the PS4, havent played since, why would I. Tokens? Lol, ok
-
1 ReplyWho cares when the team you are matched with is playing clash not the objective and you need wins not losses
-
5 RepliesDestiny 2 has ELO?
-
To each their own. If I worry about winning I go in with my clan. If I don't care , I go in by myself, who cares if you get curb stomped, you get in and out 3 tokens and a drop, and some quick xp.
-
5 Replies.....and for those who don't give 2 cents about their stats or your post? If I need to leave a match, I'll leave a match - regardless of what you are trying to tell me to do. BTW - I haven't bothered playing even 1 round of IB this week. Why should I? Nothing I need, want, or care about. If I did, I'd get a full stack of 6 clanmates first so we could steamroll through most matches. So sick and tired of you SJWs thinking your way is the only way and everyone should do what you say!

It is about having fun and nothing else. If other people leaving are interfering with your fun then get a team or play something else. Insulting others only makes you smaller then the people you are insulting.
-
I’ll leave if I get put into mid game 50 points down, with lag and crap hit detection. Thanks
-
30 Replies
So before you think your small little mind is outsmarting the system, think again.
...I'm pretty sure they just don't wanna waste extra time and would rather get into the next match right away, or just play something more fun

4 RepliesBlame bungie not the players
-
2 RepliesWho the hell cares about Elo? Lol
-
1 ReplyWell, technically no since Bungie doesn't use ELO and it doesn't matter in the slightest.
-
I mean ELO means nothing and is a meaningless number so, doesn't really mean anything of it goes down
-
Oh man. Really? That’s the basis of the argument? Loss of ELO, tokens, and loot aka legendary shards at this point vs staying in a shit game. I’ll bounce out every time.
-
7 Replies1 character, hunter surprise surprise. Comes here's posting after playing 6 banner matches and losing 5. So salty.

I stopped playing Iron Banana in general because it's too much of a rolfstomp no matter which team does what, and playing modded Control over and over again gets stale quickly. IB needs more (balanced) content so Lord Saladhead will stop facepalming after every match.
-
6 RepliesPeople usually do this to avoid taking a KD hit. Also may be to avoid the stress of getting stomped. Other than that there's usually no reason to leave.
-
Imagine unironically thinking that people actually care about some made up number on a 3rd party website that has no bearing over the game itself.
-
Imagine being so bad at real life you care about ELO...
-
1 Replyi think it is something about KD... if you had a bad match and leave your KD wont go down... not sure... heard of it in a video...
-
Okay...
