Which is Better, Sword Logic or Bomb Logic?
If you don't already know, Sword Logic is the principle of becoming stronger through combat and pushing the universe to its final, perfect shape. Hive favor this logic.
The Bomb Logic is the principle of extremely complicated life is preferable and is favored by those that worship the light.

Probably a hybrid of both. Sword logic focuses on the strength of the individual while bomb logic focuses on the strength of the group as a whole. Problem is neither works well without the other. And this is what the Beyond Light expansion is all about.

Sword logic is the blade that whets itself against other blades and itself until it becomes a shape that can’t be honed further not even by the ending of the universe. Bomb logic is the idea that essentially a bomb can be complex enough to destroy the blade and thus replace sword logic by its own rules. What stops the sword from cleaving the bomb before it goes off? Making the sword the trigger. The sword continually cleaves the bomb and activates the trigger making the bomb more true thus by the sword logic those must now accept the bomb logic. Complexity subsumes the final shape.

knife logic. kill it, learn about it, kill it so much that the thing youre killing becomes mundane, find something else to kill. the difference between knife and sword logic? sword logic treats generosity or giving as poison, whereas knife logic graciously accepts a friendly blade or whetstone.

The Way of the Sky is the Gentler Path. But until we get to know both of them better, its not clear which is "best". However the Way of the Sky is preferrable based on what they've shown so far. The Hives are basically a [i]slave army [/i]who exist only to feed their worms life energy. A very powerful slave army...but a Golden Cage is still a cage.
