To many times I've pulled the trigger for my gun not to fire. It's not like I'm spamming the gun not in the middle of a reload. Just aiming and pulling the trigger. I expect when I pull the trigger for my gun to fire that's how guns work bungie. You pull the trigger they shoot.

Happens more in Nightfall. Rocket launchers are the worst. It’s Bungle wanting you dead so that it lasts longer. Not a controller issue. They’ll say it’s a network issue.

Nah there is definitly a delay i have great guns yet in a fire fight my 8 hits to their skull equals 1 shot to my chest. And i die. There is no way everyone is a dead shot perfectly being able to pin point my head everytime. I cant do crustible or trials of obryan. I can rarely get over 9 kills and yet some loser shoots a wall sliding into it and i die. Bungie needs to figure it out this is crhap. I have tested it in private matches and the game delays and doesnt aim correctly. Then others reply oh its this or that or some troll verbaige bs yall dont know what your talkn about ive been gaming for years on different consoles this has been by far the worst. Its not my net, its not my aiming as i shoot pve just fine yet something changes in pvp always a delay even when punching. Trash. And those who wanna say diff are trash.

10 RepliesThis is not a thing. Like many have said it's likely a controller issue. I have to replace my Son's controller every year.

2 RepliesEdited by A KOOL POP TART: 9/18/2019 10:52:11 PMI think you might need to adjust your picture settings or hdmi port. I've had times where the controller input is off by half a second due to lag. Changing the hdmi or picture setting should fix it if your on a console

1 ReplyFull auto weapons will stop shooting if you accidentally hit L3/run. Used to happen to me all the time in crucible as I like to push towards/close the gap between myself and the enemy.
-
Did you forget the #satire tag?
-
Increase your internet speed. I've never noticed any delay
-
5 RepliesThe only delay I could think of is immediately after jumping or landing from a substantial height.
-
1 ReplyYou probably either A. Reload cancelled or B. Accidentally Quickdraw glitched which makes your weapon appear ready before it's able to fire
-
1 ReplyI have had this happen numerous times with rocket launchers, but mostly with snipers for a good 3 seconds after I finish reloading them. Is this a glitch of some kind?
-
I have been having the same issue with slide shot gunning or jumping the air and gunning with a primary. Actually same with grenade/rocket launcher shots.

2 RepliesThe only weapon I can think of that does this is a sniper when you reload cancel. They added in some frames where you couldnt shoot after you reload cancel way back in D1, they persist. Dont relaod cancel I guess.

1 ReplyI'm thinking this is a bug, since it only started happening after the major Menagerie update (you know the one where they 'fixed' the Menagerie chest exploit, only to entirely break Crucible in the process by turning Guardians and their guns invisible and making them unable to respawn without turning in bounties). People (including me) complained about it on forums at the time, but it is still happening I've noticed (I've died a few times to not being able to fire my weapon even though I wasn't sprinting forward or reload cancelling (I don't usually reload cancel for that reason), and it only started happening after the Menagerie update. It happens less now, but still does happen.

Yo! Big facts! Too many times have I aimed in my sniper with quick scopes aimed fires and... nothing. Then death. It is sooooo frustration
-
Man I thought it was only me or.my controller.
-
I assume you’re talking about reload canceling, and when you cancel the reload you only cancel the animation not the cooldown. If hats the case, and you got the change you wanted, why would anyone bother going through the full reload animation when they can just glitch the reload to finish faster. This would affect lots of dps strategies and takes an element out of the game.
-
I think I know what you're talking about. Destiny doesn't really have reload cancelling like other games. If you try to reload cancel, even if the ammo is in your gun and the animation stops, the game won't allow you to shoot until the code-calculated reload is finished. This way there is no inconsistency with DPS or reloads

4 RepliesThis does happen a lot. Nothing to do with your controller it's the game. It's been a bug since D2 release.

This only happens to me when I reload cancel and it hurts my soul when I click on some kid’s head by my sniper’s still technically reloading.

2 RepliesHappening a lot to me lately with shotguns. I pull my trigger and nothing happens, only to be killed instantly by the other guy......His trigger apparently worked. Also, how am I not getting a one shot kill at point blank range sometimes, only to get killed in one shot by a guy using the same gun? I keep my resilience at 7 or 8 when I play quick play. It makes no sense.

I've noticed it happen a few times recently, thought it was just my controller 😅
-
bumpppppppp
-
Huh...I thought that was my controller...?

2 RepliesIt sounds like you are using the analog triggers to aim and fire with, correct? You just may not be pulling them enough, or they could be wearing out. It’s a common issue, especially if people use a competition controller with trigger stops that prevents a full trigger pull. I’ve been used to using the bumpers to aim and fire with since the duel shock was first introduced. That’s what I continue to use, and as a bonus, I don’t have to worry about a full trigger pull.

2 RepliesYou're either in a reload animation, drawing animation, or some other recovery animation that isn't allowing you to shoot. Coming out of a super creates a short delay before you can shoot. The last word has the drawing animation that also causes it to not be able to fire until the duration of the drawing animation is over.
