I know this is a little preemptive because we haven't yet experienced the sandbox changes, but the change to critical damage on rank and file enemies completely negates all the weapon buffs for Shadowkeep. People got excited about the buffs.... then dmg_04 posted the missing section of the TWAB explaining the nerf to red bar critical damage. Redditors have already calculated the damage differences with the upcoming nerfs/buffs. It seems that red bars will be marginally harder to kill with the new nerf to their crit damage. So that satisfying feeling of popping off heads will no longer be as easily achieved. For weapons like scouts, that depend on critical damage to be a viable option, will now essentially feel the same as they have for the past year. Here is one post a Redditor made regarding the new damage numbers given the data we've already received via the most recent TWAB.

3 RepliesThis is more of a problem with tanky rank and file Cabal enemies like the cleavers or those guys with machine guns.
