About some of 9/11 topics
There are some very respectful ones on the forums and I like that. Today was a tragic day in history that changed many things about our everyday lives. However, I've been seeing some posts mocking the day. I'm not going to name any users, but you've likely seen the posts. Are you allowed to make jokes? Yes, of course. Even if they are in poor taste? Absolutely. But I'd just like you to remember those people you are disrespecting when you say that joke. Those people lost their lives to what you're jokingly call a conspiracy. I am generally not a fan of 9/11 jokes any time of the year, but especially not today. Either way, make your jokes, do what you want, it's your right. I know I'll probably ridiculed for this post because it seems like I am telling you what you do. I'm not. Have your fun, say what you want, just be aware of what you're doing/saying and the implications of that. Good day to you all

IF there’s any reason not to joke about something, it’s for OUR sake. Those of us still here. That being said, I don’t think it was a conspiracy. The faith said to be responsible is ABSOLUTELY capable of producing people that could do something so awful. It’s a very terrible and dehumanizing belief, as is all the Abrahamic faiths. Humor is how many people deal with tragedy. It brings things out in the open and gets us talking.
