No. The traveller blessed the Eliksni with their own golden age, as they did with us but when faced with, what we assume was the encroaching Darkness, the Traveller abandoned them in an event called the Whirlwind and their home world was destroyed/abandoned. When the same threat faced Earth and Humanity the Traveller instead chose to sacrifice itself (temporarily) making the Ghosts and allowing certain dead warriors to be reborn in the light as a last ditch attempt to protect itself and us.
