Please make all grenade launchers require heavy ammo in pvp
spamming GL is too damn op. either that or severely reduce the damage they do if they take anything but heavy ammo

4 RepliesThe only ones that can oneshot are the ones that DONT have proximity grenades. This means the shooter needs to land that shot perfectly in order to get the full damage. Fighting Lion is one of the best grenade launchers but it also takes an incredible amount of skill to use. You CANT just get direct hits with it, you have to perfectly time the grenade's detonation every single time. If you get wrecked by a Fighting Lion, you are dealing with someone who has mastered that weapon. I think the only grenade launcher you could argue needs a damage reduction is Mountaintop, but that GL is a pinnacle weapon and should be powerful.

Edited by michael: 9/10/2019 12:44:16 PMyeah grenade launchers are pretty dumb right now. whenever i died to one i used to be annoyed but accept that they kind of suck, but i tried out the mountaintop last night and wow was i wrong. the gun is ridiculous, with enhanced gl loader gauntlets and a lot of ammo from double scavenger you can just run around nuking people with no remorse. i dont think they should go to the heavy slot but i do think they should only get one shot per brick even with scavenger and double scavenger.
