What does that have to do with anything? I started playing with my husband and I earned my spot with everything that I have achieved in a short amount of time. He's been playing since D1 beta and even he says that he wouldn't have achieved this much if it wasn't for me encouraging all the end-game content and goals. Don't make this a gender thing. It has nothing to do with anything. I earned my spot. Edit: Not to mention, way to be a Negative Nancy. This post was meant to encourage players into feeling like anyone can raid and nobody should feel discouraged from raiding. And you come in here and make it about gender. Why? This was not a negative post in any way and you made it one...

  • I wasn't trying to make anything negative. I was just trying to point out an important fact about your experience that it seems you have overlooked.

It was overlooked because, it has nothing to do with my experience. I don't know what "privilege" you speak of because, I had to fight for my spot. I was not treated kindly. Personally, my experience initially sucked. It still does sometimes. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY took me seriously. I had to work hard to prove myself, and even then it was never enough. Even after I solod the Shattered Throne (way back in Forsaken), I was still not taken seriously by my former clan mates. Even when I became a beast in raids. Even when I earned my Rivensbane (and my other seals), the former STILL never respected me as a serious gamer. Since then, my husband and I are in a new clan where nobody judges eachother on their gender. Even after the former clan tried Petras Run for themselves, and FAILED, they STILL don't take me seriously to this day. (Even though in a lot of ways I have surpassed them). Their mentality was, "Oh well if she could do it, we can definitely get it done." Nope... I was raised a gamer and I cannot stress that enough. All you did was prove my point. We are never taken seriously as gamers because, well, you know.
