I don't wanna be offensive, but seriously, it is. The entire story of this franchise is "change because complaints", that's since Destiny 1. If you just take in consideration this two years of Destiny 2 and what's going on right now with Shadowkeep, the players have seen their world radically change for three times before they could even get used to it. This without count all the time that Bungie changed things in course of work, again, because complaints. Afraid of changes? Not really. Maybe more TIRED of continuos changes because Bungie seems unable to find a right direction for their game. Back to the main point of this specific thread. If we take in consideration the actual status of the game right now, the only content that is not accessible for a solo player is the Raid. Campaign, Patrols, Adventures (also Heroics), Strikes (also Heroic and with Matchamking), Nightfall (can be soloed and you can modified it at your will with the Five of Swords), PvP (both Quickplay and Competitive, matchmaking also for solos, and guess what? Now we are going to have a solo quque for Competitive 'cos complaints), Gambit (Matchmaking), Gambit Prime (Matchmaking), Reckoning (Matchmaking for all three Grades), Forges (Matchmaking), Menagerie (Matchmaking), Exotic Quests, Dungeons (also, can be soloed also if very hard to do). All of this can be played as solo no problem. The problem here IS NOT the accesibility to the game as a solo player. This specific player feels that he reached the limit of the contents he can't play solo 'cos he feels he needs a Fireteam. Which put it this way is also pretty generic. So, if he really feels in this way, since that Bungie decied to make the game even more "challenging" from Shadowkeep, the only possible answer is, yes, the game is changed now and probably it's not for you anymore.
