All it takes is to post what you need help with in the "Find a Fireteam" section of the phone app. You don't even need to have a mic. I did this for every quest you just named and got them done easily. There is a path for solo players if you are willing to take it.

You're right. It would just be easier if Bungie included a "find fire team" functionality of some type in the actual game. P.S. I'll also admit that I'm kinda lazy when it comes to that stuff. :-)
