Your mind most definitely is excluded from realism since you are arguing with this. I have a 60% raid failure rating from D1 because I had to find groups on LFG or friends and we would just get stuck. I've had players give us directions and they would constantly mess up their own parts and just leave without warning. Matchmaking is how you make friends and build groups. Most players don't want to sift through the clans page on a website, avoiding the clans that have requirements and rules just to find a nice laid back clan to do a raid, and LFG is the single most toxic place to get a raid group on the internet. The fact that because YOU have a solid group makes you think other people should have to spend the time you did getting it is the reason why this post exists, because you're toxic and don't want players to just enjoy themselves the way THEY want to. It's their choice not yours bud, you need to open your ind to the world and realize there are other people.

Edited by thatdudeEd54: 9/9/2019 1:14:17 AMI most certainly dont have a solid group. Im a solo player. Instead what I do is teach other how to complete the raids. That requires research on my part and multiple attempts at the raid for me to learn the mechanics. Even if we dont conplete it, i walk out of there knowing how to complete that encoulnter People just want to jump in blindly, expect a carry, and call it a day. Can you find a raid team that can do that? Yes, but they are very, very rare. As you mentioned yourself, you have a 60% fail rate. How about you contribute in teaching those what they are doing wrong, help them understand the mechanics and dumb it down for them if you have to. Make it clear what is their objective, instead of blaming everything on the game.

That's what I do, I was a Sherpa for the King's Fall and Crota's End raids, most of my completions of the raids were from being in strike or crucible playlists and asking people if they wanted to raid, where as most of my failures were with "multiple completions, weapons required, etc." LFG posts. Matchmaking in anything is a great way to build the community as a whole, and based on your last comment I am utterly confused as to why you wouldn't want matchmaking in every activity. There will always be a someone wanting a free carry, that's why vote to kick should be reworked, and it should require actual reasoning to perform the action and it should only be available to perform between events, which would limit players getting kicked at the final boss and what not.

Edited by thatdudeEd54: 9/9/2019 1:59:57 AMIn theory yes, matchmaking for raids would be great. But dude, you fail to relize why it wont work. Yes there is some sort of matchmaking in D2 for raids with guided games. However that requires a fireteam of 3 from the same clan or and have sworn to teach you. If matchmaking was allowed for raids, you will be pared up with people who do not have any experience what so ever with said raid. A whole team who doesnt know what to do or does not want to learn how to do it is destined to fail
