I played a game of Rumble recently against a player who had a loadout of Mountain Top, Not Forgotten and Truth. They came dead last with a negative KD. All the gear but no idea lol. Only losers buy their way to pinnacle weapons. How much do these fools pay for these things?

1 ReplyEdited by 2B's Tight USB-C Port: 9/9/2019 6:32:51 PMOh come on, stuff like that doesn't just "happen". Destiny is an online only game. Everything is saved online. It doesn't matter if your disc/application is corrupted, you won't lose anything. I hope that pinnacle weapon/raid completion you paid for was worth it🤷♂️ Serves you right I guess for buying recovs instead of earning stuff yourself Edit: Funny how op isn't responding to any of these comments because he knows he messed up and knows he violated the ToS.

So besides your Titan....how much money did you lose?

5 RepliesGives stranger money and password for a recovery. Gets trolled and character deleted. Classic. Lol.

I'm gonna put this as a new comment just so it's at the top for a second. We don't know that this fellow tried to do a recovery, we can sort of assume that something hinky is up with his password and someone else got access. I personally have received a phishing email that looked completely legitimate. It even had a link that looked correct (the link didn't actually go where it looked like it did of course) and it went to a "login page" for Sony. Only reason it stood out is because it was sent to an email address that isn't associated with that account, and the only reason it didn't work is because I don't click links for those unless I'm actively in the process of doing a password reset. Soo... I guess I personally ain't gonna judge too harshly. Either way, lesson learned right?

3 RepliesSomebody tried paying for the recluse and mountaintop....

3 RepliesEdited by Lord Araphel: 9/9/2019 3:07:02 PMDon't play dumb you know exactly how. This is what happens when you do account recoveries. You weren't smart enough to do the glory cheese so instead you did the dumb option. You have only yourself to blame, this is what wrong with people the pure laziness makes you desperate and prime prey for exploitation. Perfect example of livestock.

2 RepliesSounds to me like someone got on to your system and messed up your install. No Destiny data is stored on your local system. It is all online. The only way you would lose a guardian is if you started a new account or deleted it from an existing one. Did you share your account with anyone?

6 RepliesYou’d probably better change that password of yours you willingly gave out. Otherwise your other characters will soon follow :)

it was a me! just kidding idk what happened either

Edited by Freak: 9/9/2019 4:10:13 AMThat’s not how Destiny works. Everything (meaning your characters, weapons, armor, cosmetics) are saved on Bungie’s side of things. Not on your platforms gamefiles. One of two things has happened. 1)You put something on top of your controller just right when you started the game up or switched characters (unlikely) or 2)You tried to pay someone to recov pinnacle Weapons And got trolled. Either way your mad Titan has been Thanos Snapped out of existence and you cannot get it back. You ask what’s the Moral of this epic story? Never EVER give your account info out to ANYONE. PERIOD!!!

1 ReplyEdited by BC1 Edge: 9/9/2019 9:14:02 AMThat $500 you spent on getting a pinnacle weapon must really feel worth it now. No pinnacle, no Titan, no sympathy

All that money you paid for a pinnacle gone, titan, gone God you must be bad to pay for a Pinnacle weapon

2 RepliesThe ONLY way a character can get deleted is if someone manually does it. So either someone knows your log in details and deleted themselves or someone in your house logged on an done it. I’ve heard plenty of stories and kids/ex’s deleting characters. Your characters aren’t saved on the device but one Bungies servers, I could buy a brand new Xbox, Load D2 onto it and have everything I have now.

5 RepliesDid you pay someone to get a pinnacle weapon for you on your account recently?
-
Issue is, your game getting corrupted has absolutely nothing to do with your account. You can delete and reinstall the game as many times as you want, and your account will still be there, same as you left it. That is unless you maybe gave your account info to someone that then decided to delete your character, but there's no way you'd do something crazy like that, would you?

Someone got recov-trolled....

A hunter did it

1 Reply😂😂😂. Character arent saved on your console, so the game files have nothing to do with it. That’s what you get for paying for a recovery 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
