Acquiring Planetary Materials and Legendary Shards
Hey Bungie if we are going to need a tonne of these Legendary Shards, Enhancement Cores, planetary materials etc for Shadowkeep why have you not increased their drop rate!? When we collect Planetary materials in the wild we get one or two, dismantling a weapon or piece of armour we get 3/4 legendary shards and if your lucky an enhancement core. I looked at this website and I’m not anywhere close to being ready and with that drop rate it’ll take me forever and I’ll have to take the month off.

I suggest you increase the drop rates to 10 planetary materials, legendary shards and enhancement cores per drop. Stop being so stingy!

4 RepliesI’ll give you advice on how to do if you’ve got around 1000 shards already just blow around 7-800 on materials at spider then lower your light as low as you can and farm vouldr forge for a whole night while I sleep I net around 1000-1600 planetary mats then go turn those in at devrim I get around 200 shards and 10-20 enhancements cores then I do all the milestones (except for crucible and gambit) and delete everything I get, and run the gunsmith bounties. I get about 300-350 shards per day on each character. I went from 200 on Saturday to 1700 on Wednesday. I’ve got almost 2k of every material and I went from 50 enhancements cores to 300 in that same time frame

Edited by BadWolf: 9/9/2019 6:35:35 PMuse a ghost with a scanner perk for the planet you are grinding and resources detector edit : for shards... do menagerie now that the loot have bonus drops and dismantle everything.... of you slot just 1 rune each time you will get it back.... endless farming

I go into the nessas or EDZ forges using 10 power level armour and just keep being killed with other like minded guardians. It does clan rewards, glimmer and dusk light shards or those things from nessas. You can exchange with spider. I go everyday to see what you can exchange and to pick up one core.

2 RepliesJust delete all 500 edge transits you have in your vaults :) Seriously, Spider is there if you need any mats There hasn;t been 1 time in playing D2 that I;ve had a meterials shortage Hell if they upped the gains by what you suggesting, everyone would have as many mats as gunsmith materials, and would be just as pointless

4 RepliesResources take no time at all to collect. And as for cores, we are spoilt by how many you can earn now. Back in D1 it was a mare but at least you could buy some them from vendors but it was never the one you wanted. "So off to the Cosmodrome for some spinny metal"

3 RepliesThose are just random guesses made by another player. Look at the glimmer for example, you cannot have 350,000 glimmer before shadowkeep.

I can see them increasing the collectible resources to be between 3-5 and maybe boosting legendary shards to no more than 4-5 on legendaries (more for exotics), but I heavily doubt that we'll get multiple enhancement cores from the average crap drop. What I see being more likely is an enchancement core or two having a chance to drop from regular bounties or matchmaking activities.
