Nerf bottom tree striker with the new update
After reading through the sandbox changes and watching you tubers opinion on the changes; I realized that bottom tree striker still isn’t getting the nerf it deserves. Despite it being complained about. Dw bungie I understand how much you love titans in destiny 2 but I just don’t like the feeling of getting plowed down along with my whole team and our respawns like seriously how the -blam!- did you let a super with health regeneration and super regeneration pass the testing phase

All roaming supers are being nerfed. So it is getting nerfed just not an individual nerf

31 RepliesEdited by Crucify: 9/8/2019 2:57:01 AMFrostbolt did a video where he got a 7th column with it and still had 90% super energy afterwards, Titan mains can defend it all they want but fact of the matter is that Hunters HAD their fun with Spectral, Warlocks HAD their fun with Novawarp and Titans HAD their fun with Bottom Tree Striker and now it's time to stop having obnoxious outliers, period. People have gotten spoiled with Supers in D2 and are under the delusion that a super is ONLY good if it secures consistent team wipes with minimal effort. A good super is supposed to secure 3-4 kills IF you play your cards right. Running in and spamming 1 button for 5 kills in a room of helpless people is fun but don't sit there and tell me you're doing anything special or difficult or that it's in any way, shape or form balanced.

The super regen did basically nothing and the healing only allowed it to keep itself alive longer for rapid kills but striker seriously struggled before it's change because it was TOO weak. If they reduced the buff they gave it from an 83% reduction on the light attack to around 70%, the ability it has to just spam it's light attack will be much lower. Which would make its diminishing returns a lot more impactful in crucible and would more or less balance out it's change. It's still going to be incredibly good in the right situation, but no where NEAR as bad. The health regen has already taken a nerf and actually used to be better because it used to flat heal you as well as regenerate health. Since it no longer flat heals, any consistent damage you place on the titan will prevent them from healing at all and with the nerf to its damage resistance, it's going to be MUCH easier to kill. Considering how it's also the only melee mobile super in the game that can't get multi-kills per light attack, it HAS to rely on lower energy cost otherwise it would be spending more energy per kill than any other mobile super. I'm not denying it's a stupid piece of broken garbage in crucible, but what it was beforehand was awful and I never want it that way again. Even now in pve it's still not worth using because of how costly the heavy attack is and how limiting it's single target light attack is...its also really weak damage wise so tougher opponents are a pain.

Honestly, balancing super in pvp is a lost cause. People will always find a reason to complain. They should just desactivate super in competitive PVP.
