Not a single buff to Code of the Missile in the TWAB patch notes?

Am I the only one really surprised by this? The super, Thundercrash, needs some love at least. Maybe add more damage and explosion radius based on how far you fly before impact and increase the flying distance before you start falling. Inertia Override should be reworked into something useful as well since it's hard to take advantage of it in most situations and it doesn't fit into the the skill tree at all imo.

  • My dude I hear you and totally think they need to give the super at least a 50% damage buff in PVE since Nova Bomb if I recall reading does 1.80 times the damage of a Thunder Crash, AND JUST ANNOUNCED THEY'RE BUFFING NOVA BOMB DAMAGE BY 15%! Bungie just doesn't care what you think or about Titans. Hell majority of them are either Warlock or Hunter players. The game will be dead before they ever buff Code of the Missile. I mean seriously dmg04 has even replied to another post about buffing this super, and that was like May or June. So either he didn't pass the word along, they totally forgot about it, or they just don't think it needs a buff/don't care. I mean if you think about it they're nerfing the armor to all roaming supers including Code of the Missile WHICH IS THE LAST THING IT NEEDS BECAUSE YOU CAN'T CHAIN KILL LIKE THE OTHER ROAMING SUPERS IN PVP! So why is this getting nerfed? So why should we think they're going to give it a buff anytime soon let alone be surprised?

STILL. Meanwhile OEM and the bottom tree striker is still abused to fûck. Warlock exotics are trash (for the most part in crucible) and even using an exotic can’t get two grenades (that aren’t fusion.) What happened to the two charges for solar nades and the nothing manacles for the scatter shot nades? Warlocks were nerfed and titans in crucible went cheap mode. I rarely run my warlock now..... OEM and bottom tree striker are insanity. In fact - titans get two grenades on a skill tree and don’t even need an exotic. Mean while warlocks don’t get a second grenade with the use of exotic armour? Really double fusion nades and to give up and exotic slot?

      It really is unfortunate. Fixes I propose: Either you are invulnerable while in the flying animation OR You do not consume super energy unless you hit something/go off the map/the bar expires. AKA you do not lose super if killed in midair.

      • Yes you are the only one. Competent players will understand the strenght of 1 super every 20 seconds with missile without shooting. Creating lots of orbs for allies.

      • EliteAssassin750 You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

        Really Code of the missile thundercrash look like a failed skill to me. On paper it's super cool to transform into a missile to go seek the enemy. In practice to make it balanced they made it worse than an actual missile. Truth missile : can't be shut down obviously better, seek the target arguably to a comparable level, shoot faster without a long animation, recharge way faster than a super bar, get 3 shots, not sure about the damage but it's x3 anyway, blast radius not sure about that one, oh and it does not force you to leave your cover to bring you into stomp range.

      • The whole skill tree is to high risk and too little reward to be good. I can super a boss, get stomped right after it lands and get booped into a wall or off a cliff and die. Impact conversion with ballistic slam and skullfort is cool but constant up time on a super that can get me killed is a waste. Inertia override just flat out sucks. Either the up-time needs a significant buff or the damage dealt needs a significant buff.

      • How about Nova Warp? They reduced its shield 5% making it 49% and left it the same duration which is much shorter than striker. They also reduced striker shield to 54% but left the duration?! Smh

        • I’m actually mad for titans that they didn’t get a t crash buff. I really want a blade barrage buff because it’s really inconsistent rn but thindercrash deserves one way more rn.

        • They didn't even touch bottom tree Striker or bottom tree Dawnblade. I'm not surprised they didn't buff Thundercrash, Burning Maul, or even Hammer of Sol. Yet they nerfed Shadowshot, Way of the Wraith AGAIN, and buffed... bottom tree Sentinel? I'm hoping there's more than this, because the only good thing subclass-wise was bottom tree Nightstalker imo.

              • Not only did they not buff it, but these hacks nerfed its damage resistance. It needs a damage buff and the ability to fly higher and longer. However, given that we are dealing with incompetent, lazy, greedy devs who are more concerned with their scams than player experience, and even went as far as re-skinning the raid armour, I have absolutely no hope for this dumpster fire of a franchise.

              • They didn't take any feedback at all into consideration, except maybe from datto. The list of buffs and nerfs is baffling, to say the least. Bottom tree Striker is the strongest super in the game and the recovery and super regen from kills needs to be reduced, but nope... OeM increased damage needs to be nerfed, but instead they nerfed AoS for some stupid reason to compensate and went out of their way to say OeM isn't being included in the damage stacking nerf. My guess is the devs all play Striker and need the class to be unbalanced so they can get a kill during a stream now and then.

                Imagine if thunder crash had half the radius and less floor damage that’s bottom tree nova bomb oh and as you were about to land on a group of enemies you dive bomb straight down...

                • It's an ez mode "screw this platforming segment" spec that lets you just cheese any platforming segment in the game. I'm fine with it not being viable for anything else if it means I never have to deal with platforming.
