I thought it would be fun, and interesting, to play through Stellaris with input from Offtopic on Empire name, nature, and how our Empire should approach our Galactic neighbours. I could provide regular updates on the empires progress (with screenshots and clips), and have Offtopic decide courses of action at key moments within the game. I think a good way to kick this off will be a series of threads to determine various things about the Galactic Offtopic Empire. First up: what should our name be? Post with your ideas, or quote-post any you agree with. I'll take the most quoted suggestion as the winner when I wake up tomorrow, and then follow up with another thread about species/race and whatnot. EDIT: About to turn in. So far it seems to be a tie between "The Holy Offtopic Empire" and "The Grand Offtopic Republic". If it stays that way, I'll flip a coin.
