Bungie your mountaintop quest nerf didnt do shit
75 rapid multikills is still impossible to get unless you camp heavy entire match. Are you guys -blam!-ing -blam!- cant you see that grenade launchers are simply not the weapons for slaying their magazine size is 1 and they dont one shot, also takes ages to reload... How are we supposed to get multikills ???!!!!

I even used top tree dawn-blade and ophidian aspect with GL loader and scavenger, its not hard just tedious. If you cant even complete the quest (even with requirements halved) then you ain’t good enough to get the gun, what do you fail to understand?

I did it early on PS4 with triple GLs in comp, Militia’s Birthright, Fighting lion, and Play of the Game. All my armor was spec’d for GLs. The militia’s had auto loading holster and proximity. FL auto reloads when you finish a kill with your primary, so I could often fire three consecutive grenades when I opened up with FL. It was a nasty combo at mid range. You can also use a titan with rally barricade to spam fire FL, though I didn’t have much success that way. You need to be mobile.

Bro legit I did it pre-nerf and it took forever but I’m not complaining. Just tough it out and stop crying about it. If you can’t handle the quest then just go back to whatever cursed fortnite lobby you came from.

Trust me, you don’t want these guns easy to get or you’ll quit the next day. If you already haven’t seen how toxic mountaintop combo with hunter is then you’re just sowing your own end to this game.

3 RepliesKnowing that the quest changes would be coming this week, I got the rest of it done in Iron Banner this past week. It’s really not that bad now. Use The Colony if you have a free exotic slot. DO NOT use Fighting Lion or anything with bouncing grenades. You want something that will explode on impact (spike grenades) or proximity grenades that will explode when near enemies. It’s still a grind but nothing that can’t be done in a season.

1 ReplyThe Colony in low ranked comp (sub 2100) did all the heavy lifting for me. Don't be afraid to go for direct hits, dump the whole mag, and pray to RNGsus. On maps like The Burnout, Wormhaven, or Convergence even good(-ish) players can find themselves hard pressed to outmaneuver a Colony spider in the tighter sections of the map.
