4 Replies$60 for D1 $35 for the expansion pass $40 for TTK $30 for Rise of Iron $165 spent in total on D1 983.5 hours spent in D1 (and would’ve been more had I not quit during the content drought and only played RoI after D2 launched). That’s nearly 6 hours per dollar spent. $60 for D2 $35 for the expansion pass $40 for Forsaken $35 for the annual pass $170 spent in total on D2 so far. 1205.5 hours spent in D2, so about 7.1 hours per dollar spent. Already preordered Shadowkeep Deluxe edition for $60 for another year of content because I know I’ll be getting my money’s worth.

Let me elaborate. I bought witcher 3 with all dlcs for 20 dollars. I got several hundred hours. OFF ONE PLAY THROUGH OF THE STORY AND DLCS NO RINSE REPEAT DOING MISSIONS LIKE WILL OF THE THOUSANDS UNTIL I PUKE!!! 😆😅😄😃😂😁. Get it or are you still confused? 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Since we haven’t had a Taken King content draught I’m pretty sure Destiny 2 has more hours played than Destiny 1. It helps that the industry between those releases has actively gotten worse. Haven’t bought that many games in the two years Destiny 2 has been out. I think it’s only been Red Dead Redemption 2

Even if I have my problems with the expansion, Destiny has been a game I’m not afraid to put my money down for. I know I’ll get my moneys worth Granted, I haven’t been as quick to toss over my money since D2 launched. I wait, then pay just before launch (pre-download) It was so the bigwigs couldn’t jerk themselves off to my preorder

Ive spent on destiny pretty much what i would spend for 2 nights at the pub and have gotten waaaaaaaaaaay more hours of entertainment. Its pretty damn good value in my eyes.

100$ - Destiny Limited Edition 80$ - The Taken King Collectors Edition 30$ - Rise of Iron 0$ - Eververse 210$ Spent on D1 with 2207 hours 100$ - Destiny 2 Digital Deluxe (I Switched to PC D2 a week before 2018 Solstice of Heroes started.) 50$ - Destiny 2 Digital Deluxe PC (Humble sale) 40$ - Forsaken PC 35$ - Annual Pass PC 35$ - Shadowkeep PC (Probably upgrade to deluxe if they have a upgrade pack.) 260$ spent on D2 (not including silver purchases cause I have a bad memory on how much I have bought.) 475 hours spent on Xbox D2 1060 hours spent on PC D2 There is a lot of things I do not agree with Bungie doing with the game like how D1 and D2 launched in a pretty poor state, but ive gotten my money worth 10 fold just from entertainment and fun with friends, and the game always finds a way to bring me back to it even if i get really annoyed at it from time to time, I guess you can say I really like the series even through its rough times.

Those 1000 D2 hours would have been more fun spent in D1. Value for money does not change the fact that D2 is average at best, and still in a regressed state compared to its predecessor. A sequel should be an overall improvement.
