the real question is.
are the future encounters going to be better than the standard " stand on a spot and shoot" event?
hopefully yes. this would make the nerf irrelevant and at the same time improve the game.

We don't know, but I can't really hope for since it's Bungie we're talking about ( and the fact that they even felt this was necessary)
