Raid population is lower than D1 was
Guided games for raiding is almost completely unused
If you are going to try and include more people in raiding because you want more people to experience the end game content you created, then it is probably not a smart move to make your lfg more toxic to newer raiders

Maybe they could have a matchmade “easy mode” for the raids. Low power requirements, no disabling respawn, no fails. It won’t drop powerful rewards, but will also give new players a option to learn the mechanics so they can progress to the harder versions.

D1 had two levels of difficulty with a third added during age of triumph plus challenges I honestly don’t see why this method didn’t stay, raiding was open to everybody, now it’s just made to keep elitist attitudes happy and raiding toxic People seem to forget this though🙄

Guided games is useless. I 'm a solo player and if I wanted something from a Raid then Guided Games is the LAST place I'd ever go to get a group lol.

Exactly

Lol, they dont care they want more ppl buying into the battle pass system! Ask yourself why is it all the time and effort goes into Eververse and now this......

Edited by US Reaper x: 9/3/2019 10:55:51 PMYeah but it’s not a good idea to have auto reloading tbh. Currently first time raiders don’t usually don’t learn much at all, they just get carried through mechanics just to sit in the well and shoot at a still target. Not a very dynamic experience, is it?

Solo player here. I've completed the Leviathan Raid once and the Eater of Worlds Raid Lair once. Sitting in a well and just shooting at a crit spot on a massive stationary boss isn't that amazing. I could get that experience from Menagerie without inflicting my inexperience on anyone else.

Much better experience than the toxicity that will be there from now on

Is it even an experience if you don’t learn anything? Would you rather have casual gamers living in ignorance for the rest of their lives?
-
They’d learn though Casual gamers become hardcore because they enjoy it. You think a casual is going to enjoy being rejected from teams for not knowing what to do because raids are almost impossible to get into? You can’t have raids made for hardcore gamers while trying to increase raid numbers because nobody without experience will ever get into one
