One Hit Kills = Lack of Skills

One hit kills need to be looked into. With the exception of supers and precision hits. Force players to engage is gunfights instead of cowaring in a corner for cheap kills. Reward precision and smart gameplay instead of lack of skills. This alone would make PvP 100x better. In the current state of crucible everyone runs the same weapons over and over because of the "if you cant beat em you have to join em" attitude. OHK weapons and abilities that can be paired with exotics like One Eyed Mask and Nezarec's Sin are just making crucible a sweat-fest. ( even quickplay ) If Titans and Warlock have OHK abilities then so should the hunter. Throwing knives that land a precision hit should OHK too. Balance between classes is the answer. If there were better sensitivity options for console it wouldnt be as bad because you could hit corners, slide and reset the fight with realtive ease if you arent playing super aggressive. But with the basic 1 - 10 options that we have had since D1 just doesn't allow you to make quick turns and slides the way you can on PC. This would allow you to counter players instead of running away or hiding. This in my opinion is a very simple fix. Considering that PC already has way better sensitivity options that can probably be intergrated into console with relative ease. Edit 1. If your defending OHK ( shoulder charge, ridiculous ranged rolled shotguns like Dust Rock Blues, Warlock charge grenades, etc. )then have a response that actually shows why you think it's ok. Too many people are writing stupid responses without even trying to explain themselves. Edit 2 . This post has only brought in super bitter Warlocks and Titans. It's has nothing to do with disliking the other 2 classes. ( I have all 3 ) It's a balancing issue. For all the people who can't seperate themselves from their VIDEO GAME CHARACTERS.... I pray for you. Edit 3. For all the people trying to paint the picture that its me who doesnt know how to play, doesnt have map awareness, has a low k.d., yadayadayay. Keep it real with yourself. If you use OHKs as a crutch just own it. You look weak when your in denial. Edit 4. To the ones who thinks this post is about ALL shotguns, grenades titans, warlock, etc. I CLEARLY stated OHKs. Titan and Warlocks are great in crucible but need to be toned down a bit. I like to fight in crucible not picnic. And since theyre so OP at the moment people dont engage without hugging their teammates or hiding in corners. Edit 5. To anyone who wants to mention my stats ( destinytracker profile linked below ) 1.26 k.d as a solo player who RARELY parties up is not that bad. My k.d would actually be much higher if it wasnt for Bungie's servers kicking you out ( then and again ) leaving you with a 0.00.( check my game history ) So find a new arguement because saying that I'm "a bad player" is just not working in your favor. { OHK = CRUTCH Change My Mind } *_For People Who Think I Cant Play_* ------------------------------------------------------------ I'm not the best but I can see when something is flawed * Precision * -------------------- https://youtu.be/scNsz5Yj8HI * Raw Iron Banner Stream * ------------------------------------------- https://youtu.be/gcpqbQrH_PE * Destiny Tracker * ----------------------------- https://destinytracker.com/d2/profile/psn/j8122y

  • If I may share my opinion on that. Do I dislike OHK? Yes. Could Bungie do something about it? Probably. Will they? Likely not. Generally speaking if you listen to professional players(from all games) they will all agree that in most cases it's just a cheap move. Developers know that but usually OHK allow to reduce the gap between good and bad players to even up the field. It's to make the game more casual as it is a lot easier to press a button at the right moment than having to be consistent with precise aiming and decision making. This also reduce the need for teamwork as the damage can easily be done by yourself instead of finding the best approach to a fight with your team. Same goes for grenades and supers to ensure that everybody is happy as the majority of players don't really care at the end of the day as long as they get a kill from time to time. The easier a game, the more people will play it. In my opinion I preferred the beta where using abilities would drain your super meter making you take an actual tactical decision. I also think it was better with 2 primaries as it was allowing weapon variety and required a better/consistent aim. Obviously this had no chance of surviving as the majority just want an easy time(like most communities). I don't think there is a reason to hope that Bungie will improve crucible as they don't see it as a competitive platform. For them it's just a place where people can have fun. They just try to not completely break it. For the aim option I don't think it will make a big difference. You look at a game like Apex that allow you to fully customize your sensitivity and you realise that actually nobody cares so I don't believe Bungie will take the time to look into that. Obviously some people would like it but not enough to invest in that. The best they could actually do is allow the player to increase the field of view(FoV). Now that is something the game needs on console but I'm pretty sure they won't do anything like that because they don't want to mess too much with the console framerate issues that would come with that. As for what class/exotic is OP I don't think there is a reason to go there. Destiny never was nor will it be a serious competitive game. Crucible is there because pretty much every game needs a mandatory PvP mode. All I can say is that if you truly want a better PvP experience you should look for a better PvP oriented game. You can try Counter Strike, Halo, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Battle royals, Quake, Doom etc. That is all.
