Season pass, annual pass, battle pass, another annular pass, paid "larger" dlc. I mean seriously Bungie?!? So glad I'm hoping off this train wreck and not getting shadowkeep or any Bungie game ever again. These business practices are just gross and shallow.

Edited by PopsAutismo: 9/5/2019 2:38:51 PMThe Annual Pass just gives you all four seasonal passes Don't want all of them? Buy them individually and play when you can Also, the battle pass is just a name that shitheel Datto gave it, it's free and everyone gets the rewards Although you're clearly illiterate because you ignore this, so I'm just going to assume you're a troll
-
Don't forget about Bungie's quarterly pass, semi annual pass, and annual-annual pass.

10 RepliesThose business practices are gross and shallow. The employees should work 50 hour work weeks and not get paid. They should get a weekly allowance from their parents, just like you and all the other whiners. I only hope when you all get older you all decide to work for free.

So glad I'm hoping off this train wreck and not getting shadowkeep or any Bungie game ever again. These business practices are just gross and shallow.
Everybody is panicking when it’s this simple. If you want everything, get the 60 dollar version. It comes with all 3 seasons + the battle pass for all 3 seasons. The battle pass is NOT an additional purchase. Taken directly from the PlayStation store description for the 60 dollar version:
Exclusive Digital Collector’s Items Include: • Four Season Passes...
1 purchase. That’s it. If you want just shadowkeep, get the 35 dollar version. You get the premium track on the battle pass for the season of undying and then the rest of the free content and the free track for the following seasons. If you change your mind you can individually purchase each season you’d like to play for a small fee. My guess is $10 each season and seeing as there will be 3 additional seasons after undying, that’s $30. So you’re spending an extra 5 dollars over the digital deluxe. Your choice. People need to actually research things instead of just hearing buzz words and panicking. If you’re still confused, here’s a link to an info graphic about the two separate purchases and what you get. http://bit.ly/2NBQljL In short: Battle passes are not separate purchases. They are included when you buy a season. There’s no additional purchases. The 60 dollar version of the DLC gives you all 4 seasons and shadowkeep which is the only purchase that you’ll have to make this year. The battle pass is not a separate purchase. The battle pass is not a separate purchase. The battle pass is not a separate purchase. Stop panicking.

28 Repliesif you buy shadowkeep for just $35, you get the season AND the "battle pass" free. (the season already comes with the "battle pass"
-
$60 US covers everything for the year. Shadowkeep DLC. All four Seasons Passes. Which gets you the “Battle Pass” and access to all loot tiers. Too much? The just buy the parts you want individually.
-
Forsaken and year 2 annual pass together is $40. Shadowkeep is $35 and comes with the current season for free. Every season after that is $10 a season, and no ones making you buy any of this either, it's your choice
-
12 Replies60 USD for shadow keep, 40 USD for battle passes (guessing that 10 USD price based on other companies business models.) you get the season passes free with this purchase. Total 100 USD annually Buying each standalone season content 10 USD, 40 USD for base shadow keep and 10 USD per seasonal battle pass. Total 120 USD annually Second option let's you opt in if you want the season or not. Could save money in that aspect depending on how much you play. Not counting taxes. Either way 100 or 120... those are pennies to most people's annual income.

1 ReplyEdited by Pocket Fox: 9/4/2019 6:31:52 AMBattle pass is included in the season pass. Season pass is included in Shadowkeep, so you literally just pay for Shadowkeep and you're 100% good to go this season. Then in subsequent seasons, it's 10 bucks a pop and you get everything. $60 gets you the entire year 3. There's lots of things to complain about with the direction of Destiny, but honestly I don't think price is one of them.

7 RepliesI find it to be extremely cheap. Have zero problem paying for games, dlc, passes for games I enjoy playing. Are the games always perfect? Never, and probably getting to old to ever see what I would consider to be the perfect game simply because the tech isn't there yet. Would I personally make minor/major adjustments if I was part of the actual company developing the game? Hell yeah! But I'm not. And quite honestly, if I was, alot of the changes I would make would equally piss off certain parts of the community simply because its impossible to please everyone.

Um, Shadowkeep is 35 bucks which includes the "battlepass". You can buy each season for 10 bucks. That's 65 bucks for a year of content. Value is subjective but acting like that's any worse than any other game is silly.
-
6 Replies$60 for a year of content? I could buy a AAA game for the same price which takes me 15 hours to beat. Value is yours to determine, but if you want to play, you have to pay. And stop spreading misinformation.. you dont have to buy the battle pass at all. The "paid larger dlc" and season and battle pass is rolled into one. You only have to pay for the remaining 3 seasons, if you like.
-
I paid £50 for Shadowkeep plus the annual pass. That will provide hundreds of hours of gameplay and enjoyment for me. No doubt there’s going to be some frustration and irritation mixed in there as well, but nothing’s perfect. Sounds like you’d had enough of D2. If that’s the case then you made the correct decision by stopping playing.
-
And another loser bites the dust..
-
Um, the price hasn't changed? $65 buys you a full year's worth of content, including: Premium "battlepass" Season pass (all 4 season's worth of content) Shadowkeep (larger DLC Annual Pass has become the Season Pass, and you're throwing in another "annual pass" just to stir the pot. If you don't want to play, or pay the salaries of the people who work hard to make this gigantic game, then don't. No one will miss you
-
1 ReplyI think it's like. $35 for shadowkeep, you get a season for free with it. Every season will be $10 a piece. So like $65 for the year. But whether it's worth it depends on how much content we get per season
-
2 RepliesAs much as you want.
-
1 ReplySeason pass: Comes with Standard Edition, later Season passes $10. Annual pass: Comes with Deluxe Edition. Battle pass: Comes with Season pass. Annular pass: Doesn't exist. Shadowkeep: Worth is subjective. Some games give more content for less, but some games aren't Destiny, and some people like Destiny. And the only other game that's Destiny is Destiny 1, and most people who like Destiny already played Destiny 1 and want something new. If you don't like Destiny, don't just save your money, save your time too. Simple.
Season pass, annual pass, battle pass, another annular pass, paid "larger" dlc. I mean seriously Bungie?!? So glad I'm hoping off this train wreck and not getting shadowkeep or any Bungie game ever again. These business practices are just gross and shallow.
$232 per year

2 RepliesForsaken+annual $30 Shadow+season 8+battle pass $30 Seasons 9-11+battle pass $30 A season cost $10 and the battle pass is included A yearly dlc is $30 and comes with a free season

Just pay whatever your wallet allows and maybe you wouldn’t feel the need to throw a fuss

13 RepliesYour correct. They should spend 100,000 of dollars times many over and provide you free stuff. Get off your horse. 30 bucks (and around a month +- of time) for: Gear Weapons Raid Dungeon Strikes Pvp maps Story Etc. I drop 50 this week for a stupid ass scary movie the kid and wife wanted to watch at the theater. 1.5 hrs. Yeah.
