"You had to be there when..."
No.
"I had so much fun with....let's go do that together so you can see why I like playing"
Yes.
The fact that you dont understand this is why I've given up.
It's like you simply dont understand fun.
Maybe I can make the point this way, what do you stand to gain from having your development team work so hard on content, and that content cannot be played throughout the life of the game. Meaning if you really really enjoy that content, you may only get to enjoy it for a short amount of time before you no longer have something to enjoy, versus putting that content out there letting it stay out there, and letting people enjoy it for years to come and just like Halo be a game that people actually skip work to play.

I only have 1 good Destiny story. And ive been playing since D1 beta. Im excluding finishing raids for the first time. It came from a run on Calus. We're on one of the pedestals shooting him. Hes almost dead. All of a sudden someone throws up a full titan barricade. Amazingly no one died from rocket blasts or anything and still managed to kill him. It was hilarious afterwards. Other than that, maybe laughing during Kings Fall? With the penis jumping puzzle walls? But there hasnt been what I like to call a Halo or Battlefield moment for me. Sonething ridiculous out of pure chaos. Maybe its just me. Maybe the game doesnt lend to that because of the lack of vehicles? Cant place my finger on it. Maybe its because all raid encounters are sit here do this, or you fail? It doesnt really lend to much creativity with engagement.
