The battle pass has completely turned me off. There’s zero chance that this isn’t designed to force people to either miss out on loot or pay up. It’s pathetic and people won’t wake up until the usual Bungie “mistake” is pointed out by a streamer. Streamer: “Oh, hey guys I noticed that once you hit rank 50 all xp slows down unless you buy a 4-hour xp booster for 300 silver.” Bungie: “dangit... it looks like we missed the mark. Gosh darnit guys, we’re not happy with this either. We’re going to leave it so we can collect data, but we’ll go ahead and let you guys buy ranks for 500 silver per rank so you don’t miss out on any sweet loot.” Fanboys: “gosh Bungie is awesome.
