Who here actually spends real money on silver?
Title says it all just curious because of how much effort and resources bungie dedicates to eververse instead of in game loot from activity’s .

Regretfully spent $5 on silver in Destiny 1. All I got were two lame emotes and a sparrow horn. Still better money spent than buying EA Battlefront 1 for the same amount.

I’ve spent money on mtx in f2p games, but never D2. Full price games/paid DLC should not have any form of mtx.

Once a year I'll buy silver just in case there's something special I just have to own.

I paid for silver for the lore emote a few weeks back. Partly because I knew I’d be getting the book anyway, so I might as well take advantage of the offer, and partly because I thought it would be worth giving more financial support to the game given that I honestly believe I got far more than my money’s worth out of the annual pass.

Depends on what is offered. I have never had 1 issue with getting stuff with bright dust so I always go that way first. Outbreak and Whisper ornaments I did spend money on.

1 ReplyProbably 60-80 so far, both whisper ornaments, one Outbreak ornament, Spare Rations ornament, 2 sparrows, sleeper ornament, Iron Banner emote, bake the cookies emote. Disclaimer: Married, kids, job, pension, all 4 cars are paid off, no credit card debt.

I bought an outbreak prime ornament last week, and before that it was 2015. 🤷🏻♀️

I got 1000 silver with Forsaken. I just spent them this season on a couple of ornaments. Never bought any.

In most games only 10% of players will buy DLC. However, DLC is so cheap to make and they charge so much that it's extremely profitable. So yes, 90% of gamers must be harassed by microtransactions because of the 10% who pay for them.

If there's something I want, I don't have any problem dropping some money; after all, that's probably the only way we're going to get new armor moving forward.
