I smelled bullshit from miles away when they said Destiny is going "Free To Play" and somehow still charging premium to access all new story/activities alongside Eververse. Not to mention they're throttling Bright Dust. And don't get me started about deleting activities at the end of seasons.
They only thing we get for free in SK is half a battle pass for cosmetics, one exotic, and a reskinned patrol area.
F2P Destiny is "Free To PATROL" Destiny 😂😂

F2P is coming because they want new people to try the game. How do you convince someone to jump into D2 when it will cost them nearly 200 bucks to do so?

what you listed isn't much content at all, especially for how much they want for shadowkeep. armor 2.0 isn't that enticing unless we have a bunch of new armor to use it with, which we don't get. 2 strikes is laughable (most likely reskinned) considering we haven't even received a new one, forsaken strike were all missions turned into strikes and same with d2 vanilla strikes as well. reused crucible maps? please... reskinned moon, no thanks. only way I could get into a reskinned moon is if you could go deep to the core of the moon fighting hive, but that's not going to happen. and still no refresh on vendor loot. I could go on but why?

I skipped out on the first two seasons of Forsaken, playing PvP already because I had PSN. I STILL got access to Eververse cosmetics, the maps, AND the refreshed Vanguard, Crucible, and Gunsmith vendors. Didn't play strikes during that time so I don't know if I got those. So nothing new 😂 Simply put, it's a cheap money grubbing marketing scheme.
