As a pvp player I mainly want to address some problems I see often when I decide to do raids, strikes or any activity with a high health pool boss for that matter. I feel that auto reload mechanics really ruin the difficulty of the game and just water it down immensely.
As a destiny 1 player I played a lot of both pvp and pve. I loved pve I loved the difficulty of raids and the terror nightfalls brought to the table. I love those moments where you have no option but to just run, jump, and slide everywhere because nowhere is safe. I love the thrill pve used to bring.
which is why I mainly only play pvp now
When ever I am invited to a raid such as the last wish, I feel like I am left with a poor experience. I did the raid multiple times from start to finish without any cheesy auto reload buffs because I wanted to try the mechanics. No one is willing to do that anymore. People just wanna pop riffs and melt riven before we even get to any sort of mechanics. People just wanna pop riffs and barricades every boss encounter and I feel it’s forcing bungie to make bosses bullet sponges or making encounters so hard that warlocks are necessary in order to beat them.
I don’t always complain about pve I find it enjoyable from time to time but I feel the experience of it would greatly benefit from the removal of auto reload buffs to spam any sort of weapon that shouldn’t be spammable ex grenade launchers, rockets, snipers...
Please remove this mechanic from the game. Rework these buffs and give us the difficulty we need in destiny and allow us to beat bosses as intended.

1 ReplyDumbest post ever nerfing either one won't make the game any more difficult

1 ReplyYou thought D1 Nightfalls were terrifying? They were easier to solo than D2 Nightfalls.

3 RepliesStop acting like u “came across this” by playing. U read the twab and clicked the link to the youtube video. Now u think its a problem. Its not. It wasnt a problem when u were underleveled was it? No it wasnt because it helped the team survive. I dont take shit like this seriously because its at the end of a content cycle and everyone is max lvl/light with all the good weapons we grinded for. So everything is easy now.
Bosses in D2 are hardly bullet sponges, especially raid bosses. Have to realize, MANY people have ran specific raids multiple times for specific drops. Can’t expect every group to want to do it the more time consuming strategy. If that is killing the experience for you, then create your own group with your own specifications, instead of joining someone else’s group and being upset how they run the raid.
