You're making the game a AAA-game, that is also free-to-play but pay-to-win, with the pricetag of about 4 AAA games (if you've bought everything up until now). How innovative!
I'm calling it now: Eriana’s Vow (handcannon) is probably going to be stupidly OP, but it's "OKAY" because everyone can get it. The pay-to-win players get it immediatly, while the rest get shit on in PvP for the first 35 "seasonal levels". I also bet you'll need to sink in 60+ hours to get to level 35, and the free-to-play version of the Eriana’s Vow-questline is stupidly long.
........yeah..... I'm so exited to see how this plays out......

How so? You can buy the expansion pass too. How many do you think are going to buy the expansion pass just for an exotic that they can get anyway? Why even buy the pass if you're not planning on staying even somewhat dedicated to the game? Nobody is buying this for a hand canon after 3 of the last quests have been hand canons.

Cause if those Weapons dominate the Crucible, it’s game over. It’s Pay to Win cause those will be the new Metas. No way around it.

no. its paying a dollar for a chicken for a decade(games have been the same price for 10 years)and then getting mad because you find out the price of breeding chickens has gone up and you have to pay more. games have been the same price for years. no other industry has static prices like that. gas cost more,cars cost more,so does that chicken you are talking about. the extra money has to come from somewhere.
