Whenever I watch pc gameplay, I see handcannons being used everywhere. With little recoil and flinch, handcannons are easily a great option in pvp. Playing on console couldn’t be more different. Handcannons kick like crazy, forcing you to spam your shots in hopes of achieving a semi-optimal ttk, or to pace your shots, also reducing the weapon. It is absurd that an entire weapon type can be made almost completely obsolete, especially since they are extremely viable on another platform of the same game.
Anyone can use a handcannon on pc and have fun, but to even use a handcannon on console, you need hours of practice controlling the recoil. Additionally, handcannons on console are effected by large amounts of bloom, adding further inconsistencies. On pc, this mechanic doesn’t even exist. The reason these mechanics were removed on pc was because they felt terrible, and removing them made the game better. Why can’t it be this way on console?
