Banned from destiny, replying to BNGSecurity

Hello Mods and BNG Security, Thank you for replying to my inquiry last week regarding my account ban. Your reply was very helpful and I now understand a lot more about your process. From your reply; "Your account was banned on February 11th when a code injection service was detected interacting directly with the Destiny 2 game process at run-time. Your ban has been reviewed and upheld." https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/253271705?sort=0&page=0 I'm sure you can see the program that was running on my PC and my understanding is that program is only for offline games like skyrim, fallout, ect. I had no idea it could still interact with Destiny. I now know I was mistaken. But if you review my account you'll see I Played over 575 hours of this game before my ban and that code injection didn't appear until my very last day in the game. Despite being offline for 7 months I am still in the top 15% of most hours played on your game. Had I received a temporary ban and a notice for the reason why I could have deleted that program and I would likely be in the top 3% of most logged hours now. I am a Superfan! I NEVER would have installed that program if knew my account was in jeopardy. I know Bungie bans game trainers because single-player rewards carry over into multiplayer and that ruins the experience for everyone else. I agree with that sentiment completely! but I am not guilty of milking rewards from single player. I have been grinding this game and I earned everything I got fair and square. I've spent hundreds of hours and I've spent hundreds of more dollars supporting your game. I'm begging for a second chance here, please review my account. look at the time I've spent playing and investing in your company before the "code injection" was noticed and please don't kick a Superfan out, Let me play with my friends again. I'd be willing to speak privately about the issue. I would love for someone from Bungie to personally contact me. via PM, Email or phone. Thank you

  • They made their position clear when they said the ban was reviewed and upheld. You should be lucky they responded to your initial inquiry, it's rare that they do. I wouldn't expect another response.

  • Doesn’t matter if the code injector is for offline games “only” it’s a code injector you shouldn’t have it running on your computer during a multiplayer game. Regardless if you think it’s fair or not, Bungie doesn’t take second chances with code injectors. Because legitimate cheaters hide offline ones as online ones.

  • Unfortunately, there are no 2nd chances when it comes to bans. You would need to create a new account and start over.
