At 3k glory, I play solo. Why would I constantly get matched up with players who go negative and seemingly have no idea how to play pvp? Wouldn’t the game put me on a team of players who are the same skill level? I mean what’s the point of the ranking system if I have to constantly be paired with potatoes who have no business being above 3k glory. Lol thoughts anyone?

Bungie doesn't care about destiny anymore, I suggest the communtiy just qi=uit altogether

2 RepliesBecause the matchmaking tries to get over elo balance for both teams so if say 4 players on the opposite team have equally balanced elo scores and you get put into the opposite team with your elo score making 3 quarters of the score , it will find 3 more players with low enough elo scores to balance the elo between teams there for leaving you with 3 low low skilled team mates.
-
Because SBMM is a myth. Bungie matches players based on tea leaves.

Cause Matchmaking?

1 ReplyEdited by Sarah Rose: 8/28/2019 2:02:40 PMYou're putting too much faith in matchmaking and blueberries. There are TONS of people out there with 3k or even 4k Glory whose K/D is not even a 0.75. EDIT: worst part is, those same people are also the ones making LFG posts saying be sweaty, be good, must have NF (no joke, have seen this), hold your own, etc.

Because Glory is not a skill ranking system.

Yep, that's how it's been for me too each time I solo queue comp for a weapon, I don't even bother getting much past 2100. Not a snowball's chance in hell I was going to go for Not Forgotten solo. Would have been way too hard. Luna's and Recluse were pretty easy to solo queue compared to Redrix's, so at least they've made comp a bit more accessible. I noticed going for Recluse that even though I would get some bad teammates sometimes, so did the enemy team. It seemed to even out in the end.
-
Because bad players are playing the game. Therefore, logic dictates you will be matched with bad players.

No clue man honnestly though i never saw much difference between 0 glory and 2k glory so its really hard to judge.

I’m at 4700, last night played my 3rd game in a row after losing 2. Needless to say I thought we had it pretty good as I was matched up with a 3 stack on my team. One of them didn’t drop a single kill.

It was a nightmare. I got to about 1900 and said -blam!- it. Had level 16, afk, suiciding off the map and of course leavers. Never went back and never will.
-
Yeah that is very frustrating FORREAL. Agree.
-
Why would you submit yourself to solo queuing in comp at that level in the first place?? I got my Recluse and went straight back to PvE, my Bygones hasn’t even been back out of the vault since then.
-
I agree I thought the same thing like I go up against full stack above 3 and 4k teams, mine are m.i.a or completely useless so frustrating.

2 RepliesI don't have Lol thoughts. I have dark thoughts. Involving Pandas.

mtashed made a video on this look it up. i cant send link because im doing it on a shitty school computer

It be like that sometimes. It’s either try your hardest and carry scrubs or lose. Rarely a team carrying me; and I mean rarely.

Dropped from Brave 3 to guardian 1 in a day because of my teammates. Its bad man
