I got an ad on facebook today showing paid carries for recluse now i hate the people that obviously pay for carries to get pinnacle weapons that devalues the work done for them, they even went as far as to say they are partnered with bungie and have numerous screenshots to prove it this company is based out of Singapore and charging upwards of $150 and even up to $1100. bungie has said numerous time that they do not condone boosting of any kind yet nothing is being done about this, it must be kinda fishy that us players are playing with people from SINGAPORE

22 RepliesMy question is why do you care? Maybe it’s just me but I like to mind my own business and people participating in paid carries has nothing to do with me.
-
1 Replyits not your problem

2 RepliesI thought they can’t really do anything about it legally. Is that wrong? Could someone clarify?

13 RepliesEdited by Eriena: 8/27/2019 1:19:31 PMWe appreciate you trying to bring websites that offer solicitation to Bungie’s attention. However posting them on the forums is just giving those websites free advertising. I have removed the link for this reason.
-
12 RepliesIt isn’t boosting, it’s paying people to play for you to acquire something you cannot do yourself for whatever reason. I do this and it’s decent side cash. There will always be a market for doing things for people that they either can’t or don’t want to do themselves, get over it.
-
1 ReplyYou're gonna get "redacted" for posting a link... That's al.

I’m against paid carries on a personal level, but I accept that there is nothing we can do or should do. I also don’t agree with advertising for it, but there is nothing Bungie can legally do or should do. What I think they should crack down on is account recovery things. It devalues the gear to such an extent that it breaks higher level comp play as soon as you get close to a certain ranking. This is more along the lines of boosting than anything else. On a more personal note, what joy and sense of accomplishment do you get out of using a weapon you didn’t work for to get? I love using my pinnacle Weapons since I know I worked hard to get them even if I’m not the best pvp player in the world. Just makes you wonder...

Lol there is nothing they can do about this. Also who cares if a person values there time more then money and want to pay. I personally would not be one to pay cause of simple work around for things and I don't mind the grinds but really the people who pay don't affect me at all
-
waiting for bungie response.

It’s a service just like anything else in life, people pay other people to do things this is no different. Yes clean it up off the forums, but people like you and Bungie doesn’t really have a right to stop it. If people have the money and stupidly want to spend it on things like this, then they should be able to
-
A carry isn’t really against any tnc as you are playing with someone who is better than you. They are not using your account. Whether you pay someone for the pleasure of playing with them is nothing to do with bungie and no way they can stop carries. Recoveries are what they don’t want happening.

1 ReplyYour options are really confusing. Both have same outcome which is not how this works. You basically said either stop it or remove website, the third option is they like it because in today’s day and age it supports multiple economies streamers get recognition and more views is more income for them, bungie gets more recognition from there being more followers of said streamers. And then bungie gets more revenue!
-
That’s the reason why there is no trials. That’s their statement for your question about carries :).

1 ReplyThey can track how many accounts have played on same PS4 ,Xbox, and they can put a limit of like 10 accounts (who the hell will have even 5 accounts for the same game?) And when the limit is hit the system can flag the hardware (PS4, Xbox) and they can track the accounts played on that flagged system like the PS4 system is situated on New York but the last 10 accounts played on that ps4 are originally from Europe or south America, China etc, so yes they can do something about that but not because will be bad for their business. Yea bungie is a milk money company, that's why I don't play their sh1t game. Another thing is 2 years ago when I started to play D2 I read their TOS and was something like this : if in the same system (PS4 in my case) will be identified multiple bungie accounts the accounts and the system risk a ban, but now seems they removed that from their TOS since the paid recovery's bring fame to the game to streamers etc. Video games industry is just a business and like every business must make more money and survive not matter what.

18 RepliesBungie encourages paid carries as well as cheating in order to get pinnacle crucible weapons. Signed, 3,500 Glory with no Luna nor Recluse because I'm a legit player. P.s. if you can get or find or show me where I can get the cheat coding so that I can finally become fabled it would be greatly appreciated.
-
Well destiny has been around for quite some time now and paid carries have existed since d1 . I think their stance is pretty clear .
-
Dude people will always find a way. You can’t stop it it’s in every game like this, if there’s money to be made it’ll be made
-
Edited by twirlypen: 8/27/2019 10:52:14 PMCan't vote. No option for "Bungie allows them for kickbacks" hence the real reason the link was swiftly removed by a ninja. The very few people you see getting banned didn't give Bungie their cut.
-
1 Reply
bungie has said numerous time that they do not condone boosting of any kind
You make a post asking what their stance is and yet here you say that they have already said they don't condone this. Anything else for the thread before it dies out?
-
Who cares? Don't like it, don't participate. Bungie can't do anything about people in Singapore.
-
It’s a little too late for stopping it. It really doesn’t matter anymore. The crucible isn’t constantly flooded with those weapons. Nope. I don’t have any of them...
-
Doesn't stop there. There's entire accounts for sale on eBay upwards to $2000 I've seen, just for pvp pinnacle weapons. The ads are getting annoying and out of hand but I doubt there's anything bungie can do, like at all. I've only recently saw a trend with D2 but it's not the only game that has fell victim to this so imo, it's not our jobs to worry about it honestly. Play the game how you want and have fun
-
3 RepliesLmfao!!!! Which fool pays real money for video game weapons ?????🤣🤣🤣
-
4 RepliesOh come on, why is there a need to pay for carry when you can fking cheese pinnacle weapons? So bungie approves of cheesing over paid carries? Oh ok then, at least they paid some dough, it's fair says bungie...
-
The funny thing about this is... It’s a double edge sword. It’s against ToS/CoC, but you can’t post the website because that is also illegal. Bungie is “strongly” against it, but you can’t report a website.
