Is it me or is crucible pretty broken?
Just wondering. I get really awful games

But I never meant for you all to go so hard on one another. I think the biggest problem is our attitude and our morals. And that is for EVERYTHING in society from games, to business to ethics we show one another. You all ripped into each other without having a slight clue to what they deal with IRL. Whether mad, sad, indifferent or just dead inside we all are guardians. We have issues and tasks and trials we face on our own everyday. I was simply sad and I wanted to see if others were also suffering for being below average like me. Answer was yes but in the name of Julia Roberts please be more kind to one another. To you good gamers: I am glad you kick ass and hope you continue to do so that you may feel awesome To my fellow below average gamers like me who just like the world we game in: I am sorry I caused so much more turmoil. There were valuable points from both sides but there is still no valid reason to insult each other. We -blam!-ing hurt every day in life with all the darkness we face. Taking it out here will not solve, improve or boost anything. It will just create larger flames as you all did. Life sucks ass outside of this game Don't go make things even worse by trying to up one another in words. You all just look so evil and foolish. This is why darkness will always encroach on us and this is why Darkness is winning right now in our society. -blam!-ing be nice dammit refrain and try and word things that a propper conversation may be carried out that but the sides maybwalk away having gained newfound knowledge and respect for opinions and ideologies we are forming. We know it sucks, we know shit will not change we know you are good and you hate us losers but -blam!-, man. We all here and we CAN get to an end if we try and listen to each other and then help each other. Cayde died because he went alone to face the enemy... Guardians are NOT meant to fight alone ALL the time. We are meant to support one another and be better together. Yes, the good gamer can live peacefully with us not so good gamers. There are things that would make a great change in our gaming world but since we are sheep and usually -blam!- without taking action to see change then this course will continue and I will continue to get stomped and the games will keep getting harder to play. At the end of the day I still want to game with you guys and just do my best. Sometimes the pain of loss gets to me. I am sure this is the same for all of us. Say sorry, give a hug and realize that your attitudes and words here reflect who you are in reality and my my it is a scary and sad thing to see.

1 Replygiving one class a over sheild for simply killing someone is rediculous, even worse is most of these players run shotguns or mountain top, most developers this day and age think catering to the casuals that play is a good idea, when players that are pretty decent at the game and play non stop will take advantage of these things that are put in for the casuals.

3 RepliesMy problems with crucible are of (these are just my opinion) supers, spawns shotguns, pulse rifle range (gives you no reason to use scout, terrible map designs (equinox, dead cliff A spawn etc) no sbmm (im sick and tired of going against unbroken in quickplay) and people not knowning how to play control(you suppose to defend two zones you dont need three) 180 rpm recoil hand cannons they are pretty much sidearms and you can just spam them and easy kills, snipers what is the point of them when you just have people shotgun all the time. Special ammo, you get too much. Remember this is just my opinion

The lobby is full of randos and somehow I get one guy with greens, one bot, and one guy went 0.1 on the 2nd match. The 3rd match I went 5. by just hipfiring my blast furnace and some guy just swoooop from the sky and kill my opponent. that's probably my worst crucible day this month

Supers are out of control and fusions are unbalanced with other weapons. Other than that is still great fun

Poor game design....all snowball mechanics and no catch-up mechanics. So matches turn into routs easily and quickly. Poor matchmaking....especially in Quickplay. So 30-40 percent of the games are routs/ pubstomps. Poor sandbox tuning. Pinnacle weapons create a rich-get-richer environment. Which just adds "more snow on the snowball". Trying to "balance" a game that shares weapons with a loot-game as if it is a campaign shooter....is a Fool's Errand. Hasn't worked in 5 years....and is never GOING to EVER work. Crucible really needs to be burned to the ground....and redesigned from the ground up. But at this point I don't think Bungie wants to spend the resources necessary to do the job and do it right.

It's absolutely stuffed! TTK is so bad for some and great for others I get outshot with anything while using a hammerhead. yesterday my blade barrage didn't touch the other guy 5 meters away from me .... then he shot me. I have the video but have no idea how to put it on this forum.

Just wait until all the F2P players who have never paid a single dime for the game start using their voice to cry for nerfs and buffs. There's no way in all the nine levels of hell that I'm going to spend money on Shadowkeep. Free players have a voice in balance and PAID content gets deleted after the season?!? Good luck to y'all. I'm gonna enjoy my last month and then I'm retiring 😂

Between the 6 man OEM and the respawns system spawning you with the enemy team or directly near the bottom tree striker that just kill you 4 seconds ago, the crucible is a definite mess right now.

I get farmed non stop in quickplay by hunters running blade barrage or spectral blades, spamming all of the pinnacle weapons. Every single game its Lunas/Not Forgotten, Recluse, Revoker, and Mountain top. These people are sweating every game like their stats depend on it, jumping off the map instead of being killed. Its crazy. I'm pretty terrible at crucible so having to run against higher level players with top tier weapons is pretty frustrating. I was trying to grind out Redrix Broadsword but gave up in the double kills portion. Its just not worth the frustration.

It's just I'm surprised they nerf the gwisin vest but have it in the bottom tree striker without the use of the heavy to gain super just kills and heals like do they even test their own game?

PvP matchmaking is trash, they put good players on a team and bad players in other team and never a game will be fair or balanced, this is the way how bungie know to make the game "fun".

1 ReplyPvP was broken they day they tried to make it more than it was at release. A place to kind of goof off and just have fun, honing your skills to fight the darkness. It wouldn't have mattered if they had the foresight to fully separate PvE and PvP stats, but I don't think the original Destiny team ever intended for it to go where it is now. Sorry to all the PvP players, I'm not against you. I just personally don't think the game was originally set up for PvP and all sides have been negatively impacted. PvP is pretty broken, that seems to be an overall consensus. And PvE is just an uninspired mess of sideways mobility where nothing is allowed to stand out as exceptional. I remember when PvP was basically a strike alternative, a place to go play for fun for about 10 minutes and get a drop. IB was a bit of an exception, but it still fit the overall early PvP scheme.

4 RepliesPvP will never be balanced until they drops supers and have set PvP weapons like CoD does. Otherwise, someone, somewhere, will always be shouting nerf because they died. Can't really have a looter-shooter like this where the entire point of the game is to get more powerful to take down bosses. Nerfing stuff for PvP reasons just ruins PvE... It's been a never-ending cycle of the most popular guns getting nerfed into the ground and making all the PvE people furious... Then the next meta gets nerfed... over and over again. Been at it for 5 years now and it's still the same. Meta gets nerfed. Ruins it for PvE.. Like when they ruined 1000 Yard Stare by taking away it's ammo stash as if that had any impact on PvP... Totally ruined it for PvE though because you couldn't do nearly as much damage in a boss phase. Combine that with terrible match making, lag, and tons of AFK people grinding those completions since the entire game is based on completing matches instead of real end game... Makes for a terrible PvP experience for almost everyone.

Crucible has almost always been broken, ever since day one of destiny 1 I think there was a short time around HoW in d1 where it was the most balanced, but that’s it.
