We don't pay for content we pay for access to content. The BBB wouldn't care less that they are going to a format that they rotate seasonal content. They stated the loot will drop from other places after the season is done. If they continue on the path they are going they will have far to many milestones for power gear on the director kinds like now. Plus it's overwhelming to new players on what content to play what content is relevant... I can totally see why they are going this way and have no issues with it. But before you go calling the BBB you might wanna read up on you tos cause you apparently have no clue what it says haha

  •
have far to many milestones for power gear on the director kinds like now.
What does this mean? Are you saying the game is too rewarding? We have too much loot?

We have too much loot?
What iam saying is the amount of powerful drops is to much yes. Especially with the addition of more in October. They need to rotate it like they did in D1 and that goes for the raids as well cause then all there content stays relevant.

  •
the amount of powerful drops is to much yes.
I don't think there's such a thing as "too much loot" in a game.

  • I just happened to reread the TOS. And the only point of which supports what you are saying is this: TERMINATION/ACCESS RESTRICTION Bungie reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to any or all Bungie Services and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice. But that specific clause has more to do with one day if they shut their servers down. Or if there is a cyber attack. Or need to take the servers off line. No where in their terms of service do they address temporary content anywhere. As I said I have in fact just read it.

Termination/Access Restriction applies to those who violate the Terms of Service.

Yes but that has nothing to do with temporary content which was the point I was making

  • May want to go re-read it. But to make things simple for you.....
SERVICE PROVIDED CONTENT "Service Provided Content" consists of those materials provided to you (e.g., unlockable content, accounts, stats, virtual assets, virtual currencies, codes, and achievements) in connection with use of the Bungie Services. While the Bungie Services may allow you to “earn”, "buy", or "purchase" Service Provided Content within or in connection with gameplay, you do not in fact own or have any property interest in the Service Provided Content. Unless otherwise specified in writing, any Service Provided Content that you receive is licensed to you as set forth herein, and you shall have no ownership right thereto. Unless specifically permitted by Bungie, you may not, sell, lend, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer any Service Provided Content.
Seems fairly straightforward to me... But hey I could be wrong I'm no lawyer.

You are right you are not. Your interpretation is in correct. It does not at all address a predetermined length of time. The only thing in the TOS that discussed that was the piece I showed you. That piece is specifically designed for distribution. And the right within the contained content is bungies.

  • Lmao sure. It doesn't need to give you a length of time. It simply stated that they reserve the right to change there game or content there in any time they wish. I'm sure if I was to actually dig into the TOS I could find more on it. This was found in a brief thirty second skim of the TOS. I'm not going to argue you but you're wrong. This is why the agreement changes with each dlc drop because it needs to be current for content for it to be valid.

  • No it has to do with the distribution of said product. That particular section is exactly for that. Distribution as Bungie intends it to be. Not how long said content will be offered. Changing time it’s available for play is not addressed anywhere. I would imagine with shadow keep there will be a TOS update to address this. But as of right now no sir you are incorrect it is NOT addressed. I read in its entirety and I spend more than 30 seconds and then said hmmmm this seems to fit what I am saying. It doesn’t by the way. I have been reading contracts since sega was the console of choice. So I am come with some experience on this topic.
