I'm a huge quake fan and the similarities in lore are always screaming out to me. The Vex are commonly referred to creatures as 'vex milk', Asher Mir's arm is consumed by radiolaria and his arm becomes a Vex arm. The Vex worship a black mist/goo (The darkness). Shub-Niggurath is described as Black fog/goo with spawned limbs/tentacles and mouths coming from within. She is the god of fertility, some of her worshippers would drink her milk to become creatures of her bidding. Sarnath is an ancient human city of garden beauty, perhaps the black garden is Sarnath and the Vex are her worshippers. Please give me your thoughts!
