Begging to carry someone for money. These people are the scum of the community, I sincerely hate everyone that participate in account recovery or paid carries. Get a -blam!-ing job
Edit: I’m not a genius but it’s almost like bungie is secretly profiting off this nefarious activity
-
It doesn't bother me of someone wants to pay for this, but it does bother me that I will inevitably end up matched against someone doing account recoveries at some point and I'll just get my ass handed to me in comp by a player I should not have to face
-
1 ReplyWhy does it bother you. It just means more scrubs in quick play who are embarrassingly bad with recluse and luna to teabag.

Don’t you doubt it for a second.

9 RepliesEdited by Alphard: 8/24/2019 2:09:15 PMIts whatever to me TBH. Let them pay for a virtual gun or raid completion. 😋 They're the ones wasting their money on something they can attempt to earn themselves. Its a video game after all. Have fun with it! And most importantly, actually PLAY it. 😆 Whats the point of even playing a video game if you're paying someone to play for you? I get that people want sick PVP pinnacle weapons, but come on. I suck in PVP and I accept that. Not going to pay someone to get me a Recluse or whatever. Instead, I stay in my lane and go after all the special PVE/raid weapon god-rolls and exotics. Its not the end of the world if you don't have that pinnacle weapon. There are loads of obtainable weapons that works just as good, if not better in the right hands. Don't waste your money. And let's be honest, if you pay for a pinnacle weapon and still suck in PVP, the gun isn't going to make you play better. And no pinnacle weapon is going to keep you alive in a raid and help you understand raid mechanics either.
And if you really want it that bad, there are cheeses for that. Don't waste your money.
MexicanSunnyDI'm here for the SunnyD that's all. - old
There are a bunch of ridiculous requirement PvP posts on Xbox. When I'd join them they'd die a lot and get mad, yet they expect the people they recruited to carry them. -
6 RepliesI saw an ad for Luna's Howl for like $249. $50 off from its original price! "What a deal this is!", I said to myself. There must be a catch, I wondered. No catch! For a mere $747, plus tax, I'm now the proud owner of a Luna's Howl on all three characters. #NoRegerts

Edited by pacificdune: 8/25/2019 2:00:58 AMI know a lot of people that do this. Both for pvp and pve. Most of them are just kids that want a buck or two, and it’s always surprising to me how many people ask them. If they are willing to pay I don’t see an issue with it at all.
-
1 ReplyThere’s actual ads on destiny tracker. For real check it out.
-
3 RepliesIt’s probably bungie employees doing it hahahaha
-
Edited by Nemi: 8/25/2019 12:23:43 AMI mean hey, whatever pays the bills lmao. It doesn't really bother me
-
It's because they don't ban people for it. Report all you want. You're going to see the same accounts selling carries from bungie's app week after week, and month after month. At this point, it's pretty safe to assume that bungie (or whoever's in charge of policing the app) is ok with solicitation on the app, and also ok with paid carries/services. 🤷♂️

1 ReplyAnyone who would pay real money for someone else to earn them something in a damn video game is pathetic, straight up.
-
Chill on the hate.... If these kids are good enough to earn money playing games... LET THEM... I think its great for this community
-
I mean, I take as dim a view of it as anyone else with old-skool gaming principles... But they aint begging lol. The only people on the begging level are the lame-o's paying someone else to play the game for them 😂
-
What about pve recovs/carries? That’s not really affecting anyone negatively
-
3 RepliesNot really begging. If I offer you my service im expecting pay, im taking the TIME and EFFORT to carry someone who hasn't got the skill i have to obtain a certain weapon. Its even nothings free in this world quit complaining bout such little things theres so much more to post bout
-
Awww diddums, did the nasty stranger upset you sweety?

Edited by Golden: 8/24/2019 2:58:54 PMBut...but....I need to waste my 1k on a virtual weapon :((((
-
3 RepliesMakes sense though. They put the best guns in the game to obtain for both PVP & PVE behind the glory mechanic. Not everyone is good at PvP nor find it as entertaining as some. Think the Vanguard could trade the Oxygen for the Recluse for a season?
-
It’s called capitalism. Supply and demand, if there’s a demand someone will supply. So really you’re blaming the wrong people.
-
You’ve gotta think that someone’s stupid enough to actually pay for that service too.
-
1 ReplyI report them for soliciting. Then again, how do you think Bungie's getting money? (Eats popcorn)

Some of the worst teams in Comp come from LFG, I beat stacks consistently in comp that I know are really bad LFG players
