Since we’ll apparently hitting 164G (which is better off as a stand-alone game), I’ve accepted the bad engine/old hardware and don’t see that changing

Not only that the current gens of consoles is at the end of it's life cycle. The next consoles will have, not sure about Xbox, built in SSD's.
